I am VERY impressed with Rene’s. The food was amazing. The flavors were great. It was almost like we could figure out what the flavors were but were mixed so well together that we just couldn’t put our exact finger on it.
There were four of us that went for a special occasion and we were all just as pleased. The appetizers were incredible and the meals even better.
The waitress was very attentive and kind.
I sincerely hope this restaurant is around for a very long time. It’s so intimate (only 7 tables) appealing and yummy! I love the bring your own alcohol too. This was a very memorable evening and we plan on returning in a few weeks.
Definitely make a reservation!!!

A friend took me here for lunch a couple weeks ago. This restaurant is new in town and I would love to see the owners succeed. Running a restaurant is tough and if your food is not great you probably will not last. This place is kind of off the beaten path it is located in a former house and it really makes the ambiance for dining great! The old house has allot of charm and it really makes eating here a nice different experience. Service was very attentive, this is a husband and wife operation and even though the place was jammed the service did not suffer.
The food was good, I had a chicken pesto Panini which was good but seemed way too bland. The quality of the ingredients seemed very high however there was a lack of flavor. It really was not bad and tasted fine but I expected more flavor. My friend had some type of salad which looked excellect.
This place just opened and I know best of all after working in hotel/​restaurant management for 10 years that new places have opening jitters. I fully intend on returning here and trying a few other things on the menu. You won’t have a bad meal here give these new business owners a shot they are working hard to make it a great place.
