Empire Pizza

Not bad but not amazing quality. They will make you a vegan pizza, sadly they don’t carry vegan cheese like Pizza Jerks. Just ask for a pizza with no sauce or cheese and toppings on your choice (artichoke, basil, garlic, with olive oil is very good) it may sound boring to carnivores but if you’re a vegan and you’re desperate for something to eat it’s an option!

We order delivery on occasion. Friendly staff and the quality is good, just don’t order anything that uses bbq sauce. The bbq chicken pizza and wings have an odd cinnamon /​hot sauce flavoring that just doesn’t add up. I’ll order again, just not the bbq.

I’ve had the ladies and gents at Empire deliver to my home on several occasions and have never had a bad experience. The counter folks and drivers have always been professional, and I have yet to pick a bad item off their menu. My personal favorite is the gyro wrap. Well done folks!

Some of the best food around! I’m yet to have a bad meal from here. Their gyros are delicious. Good pizza. Highly recommend. The delivery comes fast! Not waiting forever for your food. I just had the French fry, bacon, mozzarella and brown gravy pizza! You heard me right!!! So delicious.

Empire Pizza is definitely a takeout place. This review is specifically for dine-​in eating only.
Inside Empire Pizza there are five hard plastic tables of which two are not usable due to boxes being piled up on them. You order at the counter and then sit at your table hoping they don’t forget you or your order, and you also have to specifically ask for napkins, silverware, and water, or just get up and get them yourself. Not a big deal, but I continually found myself getting up to get stuff. The staff is friendly and accommodating but disorganized. They simply are not set up to serve people eating in. It takes a long time for the food to come out, and this is supposed to be a fast food restaurant. The dining area is out of sight from the ordering counter, so the people working can’t see if anyone sitting there.
Food quality is average, maybe slightly below, for a quick serve restaurant. Obviously nothing is fresh. Many of their menu items come from the deep fryer, of are slapped together from out of the refrigerator. Cole slaw is nearly inedible. Fries are good. I have not had the pizza, so I can’t comment on that. Although the food quality is low, the prices are low too, making Empire Pizza a good value for inexpensive but stale takeout. However, avoid eating in at all cost.

Blech!!! Update! Summer of 2014: picked up my pizza order instead of having it delivered as usual. Oh good gawd. The inside of this pizza joint is scuzzy and dirty. The staff look unkept. Nobody was wearing gloves. Flies buzzing everywhere. The place was just so filthy and unkept that I just couldn’t eat the pizza. I haven’t ordered from Empire since that experience. I no longer refer people. I can’t believe I haven’t gotten sick from eating their food. {{{shuddering}}}

My husband loves this place but I’m not a huge fan. The pizza is good but the wings and calzones aren’t the best. I ordered a sub once and they smothered it in mayo. Only giving it 4 stars because my husband loves it.

Don’t be frightened by its location adjacent to the bus terminal. Pizza is pretty good. Fair prices too and definitely way better than Domino’s or Pizza Hut. Ample cheese and toppings (see photo I posted) on the party size I bought, which was 22 bucks total. I will definitely be back. Ask for a menu as they have lots of coupons/​deals on it. Not sure if they deliver, sorry.

I had one of the worst weekends of my life with a breakup, unplanned move, etc and my best friend mom and I worked to the bone all weekend driving trucks, moving, looking for last min housing, and just general hell. My best friend and I wandered in here exhausted looking for pizza and a beer. The friendly and courteous women here greeted us and advised us they dont serve beer. We needed beer. Tracy directed us to a neighboring bar, where we would be taken care of, set us up with the bartender, then instead of waiting for us to finish our drink and go pick up our pizza, came and hand delivered it to us fresh out of the oven. Tracy is amazing and needs a raise and whatever else you can award an employee for A+++ service and delicious food. If shes not the manager she should be. Thank you Tracy. ThANK you!!!

The worst service ever. Staff is so rude and doesn’t know the meaning of customer service. Also the pizza tastes worse than Domino’s, which I thought was the worst. I don’t know how they stay in business.

Right next to the Greyhound bus stop.
I will sometimes get a turkey wrap here. It is pretty good.
Staff is friendly and show you to use the bathroom here.
They also serve slices for the quick bite, which is especially effective of you are commuting on the bus.
Standard stuff here from a local pizzeria.

Wow — I have been here several times and shocked to see this place has not been reviewed. It doesn’t look like much on the outside or the inside but wait until you try their pies. The crust is what is remarkable — crunchy, almost a little sweet. Big slices, reasonably priced. Friendly staff.
