It’s the best water ice around. The line moves quick and for the price you pay the quality is much much better then Rita’s down the street. It tastes like real water ice you would have to go to south Philly to normally find.

Let’s start some reviews on this place with a solid 3 stars and go from there. Water ice flavors were pretty basic when I visited on a Sunday afternoon. I don’t know how creative they get. Your standards such as cherry, lemon, mango, chocolate, and blue raspberry could be had. I do like creative flavors and decided to go for the only real creative one that they had called Raiderade. I was told it was a mix of lemon, lime, and margarita flavoring. It was so named simply because it was green. Ridley Green Raiders… See what they did there? I got a large for $ 2.75. They give you a good size cup for that. And I must say that even though I’m an Interboro graduate(go Bucs), I have no problem eating Raiderade water ice at Ridley Water Ice now. Good tangy flavor. There are a lot of water ice choices around me. So let’s compare… I like the fact that this place isn’t as slushy as Rita’s. They’re a little more slushy than Joe’s down the street. I just prefer a less slushy water ice most of the time. But that’s just me. They do get my stamp of approval. I just wish I saw a few more outside the box flavors. But maybe they have some I don’t know. I guess I’ll just have to come back and find out.

Ridley tastes better than the«chain» water ice. There are just as many flavors and choices and there’s way less of a line. If you like the idea of supporting local businesses, then, Ridley is definitely the better choice.
