T.A.C.S. – The Auto Collision Specialists

I came to TACS for an estimate and was impressed with the honest, no-​pressure customer service I received. In fact, the pressure was so nonexistent that I didn’t bother getting the repair done. So, I withhold the 5^th star only because I can’t comment firsthand on their workmanship.
I had a small amount of rust developing around the wheel wells of my 10-​year-​old car, but the car was otherwise in great shape, so I thought I might have it repaired rather than letting it get worse. I came to TACS unannounced; staff greeted me warmly and had me fill out a short form. The interactions I observed in the waiting room, both among staff and between staff and customers, were notably positive. It had that family-​run-​business vibe, which I like.
The man assisting me followed me outside to the car and took his time inspecting it. He explained the details of the repair and thoroughly answered all my questions. I mentioned that I was unsure about doing the repair because I was also considering trading the car in. He told me that fixing the rust would be a good idea if I were to keep the car, but advised against the repair if I thought I’d trade it in, even within a year or two, because removing the rust wouldn’t increase the trade-​in value enough to make it worthwhile. Wow, awesome.
We went back inside, he entered some stuff into the computer and printed out the itemized estimate. He reviewed each step of the process and its respective cost, and gave me a rough timeframe on scheduling if I chose to do the work. The price was about what I expected given the little bit of research I had previously done on my own.
I decided to upgrade my vehicle rather than fix it, but I haven’t forgotten my impression of TACS. So, although I hope to never need their services, I’m confident that I’d be in good hands.

Perfect. High-​quality work, very fair cost, highly responsive and knowledgeable. Over several years, four cars, and multiple repairs *everything* has been high quality, exactly as promised, and honest. Really just delighted they’re so close.

TACS is great. The people who work there are very friendly and honest, and their estimate to fix our car was the very best out of a handful (even beating out a referral-​only back-​of-​the-​house situation). They were amenable to considering «saving» the bumper to save more money, but it couldn’t be done. The only drawback is that with those prices, you may need to wait a few weeks to get on the schedule. But once you bring it in, it’s done quickly, and will look good as new.
