this moes is super slow and unsatisfying. I’ve been to the one in crossgates mall and I had a way better experience. The employees at glenmont moes don’t even say«welcome to moes!». The lines there are always so long because the employees take their sweet time even during the lunch rush hours. I once waited in a line of about 15 people or so at this location and they took about a half hour to even start my order and then I had to wait an extra 15 minuets to get the steak I wanted on my nachos. while I was waiting I also looked at the way their cutting boards and service counters looked and they were pretty dirty. for a new restaurant to remain clean you have to keep up with it, as I was finally ringing out my nachos that took almost 50 minuets, I was given an attitude by an employee named Taylor which I later called in and complained about to the manager, who did not seem to care.

I should have known by the lackluster«welcome to Moe’s» when we walked in for lunch today. It was 12:30 — the place was dirty. Needed sweeping and tables needed to be wiped down. The food was old. The rice was old. The chicken was flavorless and dried out, as if it was old. It was really surprising because one of the reasons you go to a chain restaurant is because you know what the quality will be — that is why it is a chain restaurant. Will not be returning.

When this place first opened about a month or so ago, there were plenty of people to greet you«welcome to Moe’s» and to take your order. A regular assembly line! Today I went there for lunch. There were four people ahead of me. There was one girl behind the counter. Then another came to help. As I stood there waiting, the people ahead of the person in front of me began building there huge bowls of food. You would think it was the first time they saw cheese. After about five minutes, probably longer, I left and went across the street to Hot Harry’s. They’re a bit more pricey but at least they acknowledge you if they can’t get to you right away. And now I am destroying this wonderful taco salad made to order. So two stars for sending me across the street to your competition. I think I’ll go there first from now on!

Went there tonight for the first time. It was awful. All the food looked and tasted stale. I wound up throwing out my chicken quesadilla. As another reviewer mentioned the employees were leaning over the food, I was waiting for him to get his sleeve in my salad. Large spill on floor was neglected even after the staff was told about it. It’s a shame. We wil not be going back.

Went back a second time because we had a coupon for $ 5.99 burritos and a free soup. Same as before. Flat and tasteless.

First of all, why am I not greeted with a hearty«Welcome to Moe’s!» when I walk in the door in Glenmont? I always hated that at other Moe’s locations, but now that it’s missing, I feel curiously unwanted — indeed, unwelcome. Secondly, let’s pretend like you want to help the customers. I realize that working at Moe’s is not your life dream, but I’m sure that all of you fresh-faced young people will go on to do big things. OK, maybe not that guy who was re-filling the grilled vegetables, but the rest of you? You have a future. There are much worse part time jobs you could be working; making people happy by serving them burritos is a pretty cool way to make a buck. Thirdly, a message to Moe: please rename your menu items to something that doesn’t make me feel like an idiot when ordering. I refuse to say«Joey Bag of Donuts» or «Taco Called Wanda.» You are not funny, Moe, and making customers repeat your stupid jokes will make them uncomfortable. I like that I can get a burrito on the way home, but this place has really gotten off on the wrong foot. The food is exactly what I expected, but your customer experience sucks. That’s no way to make a first impression.

Food wide out in the open… employees leaning over everything… change your concept. Can’t eat here with food out like that. I’m sure you take precautions… but not enough for me. It’s not that good for me to risk my health.

Wow. It takes a *lot* to get my wife steaming about service — or the lack of it — but these guys managed. Just opened this week and apparently do not actually want customers: arriving at 8(closing time is 9, clearly stated on both door and website) we found the door locked although many customers inside and a dozen or so staff standing around just inside. Ok, so we knock, they see us, we watch them draw the manager’s attention… who lifts his head slightly to glance at us sideways, avoids eye contact, and apparently tells the staff to pretend we are not there! None moves the five feet or so to interact at all. Y’know, maybe you ran out of food. Maybe you needed training time. Maybe there’s a horrible virus in your food. All understandable. But treating potential customers like that? That’s a clear sign of just not caring– and we don’t want to eat in a place with that attitude.
