Went here yesterday for the first time and I have to say it was cozy and cute. The store was full of beautiful yarns and tools. The person who helped me was very nice and knew exactly what I needed for my project. It was a little more pricey than say a huge department like store, but that is completely understandable do to the size and ownership. I will be returning, soon with a few extra bucks this time. :)

This place is a gem. I just started knitting recently and was looking for a nice yarn shop with better yarn selections than Michael’s and stumbled upon purlSide in Glendora. They have really great quality yarn, with a knowledgeable and really friendly staff. The owner, Jayne, is really great and insisted that I stop by with any questions or projects. She even helped me out with a couple stitches! I would give it 5 stars, but the yarn is really pricey. Nonetheless, the selection and the staff is worth a visit!

love this shop! The owner is so enthusiastic and yarn choices are good. She carries some indy yarns as well as good staples. Great ideas all around the shop too.

How nice to have a local yarn store that carries a wide variety of nice yarn for any project you have. This shop is warm, welcoming and the place to go if you are an avid knitter or interested in learning how to knit. There is also a Knit Nite on Thursday’s from 6 – 8. There’s a nice table to sit at or comfy red chairs to rest your bones. The owner Jayne, well she’s great. Really nice, knowledgable. Worth the drive for me. I’d give it a 5 star rating if it was a bigger store w/even more lovely yarn and sitting area and served coffee. A girl can dream, right?!
