24⁄7 raquetball all the time! Stick some dollars into the machine and the lights kick on and the A/C too. There are 5 courts here and during peek time a few of the courts will definitely fill up. If you are expecting clean white walls or nice hard wood clean floors this is not the place. The walls are dirty and the floor is a hard commercial grade almost hard rubber plastic floor mat material. Despite all that this is a fun place to come play with friends at all and any hours of the day! A few dollars can get 30 minutes approx. Plenty of parking and lights in parking lot. If your looking for clean private club raquetball try LA Fitness or even Montclair Recreational center but you will not get the 24⁄7 game play

Public racquetball courts are not quite as ubiquitous, private gyms that do have courts require costly memberships, and the handball courts(with no back or side walls) at a local high school will not suffice. Well, there is the Pay & Play Racquetball indoor court for a splendid game — in my case, an occurrence of every fortnight or so — of racquetball. Prior to playing, simply insert cash(singles, fivers, and tenners cheerfully accepted) in the 1980s relic of a self-service terminal. Unfortunately, there are no racquetball equipment rentals, lavatories, locker rooms, or water fountains available. The lights and air conditioning do shut off abruptly and automatically after the pre-paid time, and for this reason a flashlight or fluorescent stick would be essential to have on hand, if to locate the ball as well as the egress in the suddenly darkened chamber. This facility is dated and a dire bit of sprucing up is in order. However, the rate is reasonable at $ 9 per hour regardless of the amount of players — after 16:00, it becomes $ 11. Let the racquet fun begin.

I saw this place as I drove past it in the 210 freeway in glendora. I finally went for a game. It’s fantastic! Yes, it old and the walls have millions of ball marks but it is cheap and fun. Be sure to take dollar bills as you have to feed them into an arcade like machine. Pay and then the lights to your room go on! And it is air conditioned although I did get very sweaty!

Good for your no frills racqueball excursion. Don’t expect a clean air conditioned room like you get at LA fitness or other private clubs.
