Beauty Within Salon

I just got my nails done with Colleen and she used a new product called sns and I love how it turned out!!!

First; Seems as if the salon is writing their own reviews, again. Typical for small bus.
Second: The hair cut I received was only fair to beginners luck.
Third: The place was convenient, if you call being on the side of a train track and listening to the Amtrack wiz by calming.
Forth: The lady in the chair before me; had huge open sores, I think she was too close to her cattle feeding bin… and chaffed her snout on the rails.
Fifth: The place stinks like a perm-​gone-​wild t.v. commercial. way over the top in product smell.
Avoid this place as they are going outa biz. soon. and the receptionist can’t find her pad (s) !

My mom has been going to Cyndee for as long as I can remember! We absolutely love her salon! I get my hair cut and colored by Amanda, who does a fantastic job, and who is super patient with my tons and tons of hair. She always makes my hair feel and look super healthy!
Prices are reasonable, all the stylists are friendly and talented.
I’ve also gotten my nails done by both Colleen and Shelley. Both ladies do a super fantastic job with gels and acrylics, and pedicures by Shelley are to die for!

My first visit was a few months ago and I was very impressed. Cyndee did a beautiful job coloring my hair a beautiful deep red. She’s personable and professional. She had a great ability making me feel comfortable in the chair with her expertise and outgoing personality. I believe she said she has 20+ experience as a stylist and it definitely shows in her work!

This is a great place all around. I wish I would’ve known about BW earlier. Never thought about a salon that specializes in people who need some help, pre, during, and post cancer treatment. Had my nails done there. The staff was very gentle. Met with Amanda for eyebrows. She was great! So sensitive, warm, and genuine. I love this place. Will see for all my hair, nail, and aesthetic needs!

I have been going to see Kim for 30 years now. My wife has been going to her for 5 years. We drive 45 minutes to see her, and she is definitely worth the drive. I even used to drive from San Pedro to see her. Kim is the best and we won’t see anybody else. I would very highly recommend her!

The first time I came to Beauty Within was almost three years ago. A high school friend Erika works there and does great work, but she wasn’t able to schedule me in and recommended Amanda Garside — I’ve been going to Amanda ever since. She is a great hair stylists/​colorist/​therapist. Amanda is great at color and explains the difference between colors/​styles and what she thinks will work with your hair, face and style. When I called her back to schedule another appointment after our first one, she remembered me, what we spoke about the first time and the color we used. She is amazing and I’m grateful for her and her friendship.
Cyndee is the owner of the salon and is very approachable and sweet. She has a way of welcoming everyone and still making sure she keeps the customer in her chair happy. The salon is beautiful and the prices are reasonable for the services received. All of the girls are great and they offer a lot of services among them (tanning, waxing, haircut, hair color, nails and more).
Amanda is actually doing my cousin’s wedding in a week and the run through on the bride went amazing. She also practiced a bit with my hair on my last regular appointment. If you don’t love your hair, she won’t let you leave her chair — she is simply amazing! I would recommend any of the girls, especially Cyndee or Amanda

Omg! Just my first time in 2yrs. And I felt so happy on the way they know how to accommodate cancer patients that currently and over treatment which is a major plus. But I do recommend Shelley but all n all the staff is great.

Sandi has been mine and my daughter’s hairdresser for the past 3 – 4 years! Sandi knows her hair color and cutting craft and has many years of experience! She keeps me looking sasssy! ;) I’m so thankful I found her!

I have been going to Sandi Simon since I was 15. I am now 43. I have had every cool hair cut. I highly highly recommend her.

Ericka is amazing! She cut my hair exactly how I wanted. She was very sweet and personable! The salon was very clean and well maintained. I will defiantly be returning!!!

Cyndee did a two color weave on my very long hair in about 20 – 25 minutes. I could not believe it took such little time!!! I am used to spending hours getting it weaved. She is amazingly skilled!!! I’m not kidding when I say it was the best looking color weave I have ever had in the 20+ years I have had my hair colored.

I was recommended to this salon and Kim by a friend. I was going thru chemo treatments and lost most of my hair. It was devastating but Kim was compassionate beyond helpful in helping me find the right wig. I initially thought I would go to a wig store and choose from there, but I’m so glad I went to Kim first. If you’re going through what I went through go see Kim first. You won’t be disappointed.

This salon is beautifully decorated and has a very comfortable and relaxing feel. Cyndee is an amazing stylist. I drive pretty far to get to this salon, because she is worth the drive! The prices are also very reasonable and they offer many services. I have never left the salon unsatisfied with my color or haircut. I also bring my daughter to her for the Keratin straightener, she does a great job! We always leave happy. Make sure to check out this salon. totally worth it.

Ericka was friendly, very sweet demeanor and professional. Right on time. Love the cut. She gave advice on how my daughter can manage her very curly hair. Easy to access parking lot (s). Already made a return appointment!

I love this Salon and my Jenna! Very clean, very relaxing and good magazines! lol I would recommend this salon to anyone and everyone! I can’t wait to see the new re-mode…l Thanks Jenna & Cindy :)

I’ve been coming to Kim at Beauty Within for about a year for cut and color. I’m almost 50, so I have been to many stylists before a friend told me about her. I can honestly say that I haven’t had a «bad hair day» since she started doing my hair (unless I wait too long to see her). She CONSISTENTLY does a fabulous job. Never rushes me, always listens to me. I highly recommend her.

My favorite place to get my hair did when I’m in So. Cal. Beautiful salon, very comfortable, and relaxing. The owner Cyndee really wants every guest to have a professional, fun, and uplifting experience with every visit. Love the trinkets in the front of the shop too. I can’t go in there without finding something I just can’t live without!
