Zethina Cosmetics

Zethina’s is the place to go. I have very sensitive skin and have tried so many different products on the market. Time after time I kept have reactions of some sort to them. Now that I use Zethina’s cosmetics and products I am reaction free and my completion looks 100 times better. I go to Zethina’s for all my cosmetic needs. If you want to treat yourself one day try the custom cocktail facial, you’ll love it. Noelle always does a wonderful job.

Every time I walk into the spa, I am greeted with a smile. My services always start on time. I’ve had a microderm, a regular facial, a massage and makeup applications done there and really need to go back more often because I always enjoy them. Zethina has some amazing sales and events, you have to get on her mailing list. Zethina and her staff also did my wedding makeup and many of my bridesmaid’s makeup and I really loved how it turned out. Pretty, sophisticated and perfect for photographs. My mother, who never wears makeup, had hers done too and she looked beautiful, not overdone. I appreciate that Zethina makes her own mineral makeup too… and that it doesn’t have all that icky stuff in it. Support your local small biz… go to Zee when you need new cosmetics or spa services. You’ll get treated way better than at some department store.

After posting my review I have been contacted by the owner and offered to come back in to make things right. I have not had the chance to do so, but I will take her up on her offer. Everybody deserves a second chance after all.

I’m a Zethina newbie and have only been going for about a year now, but I have to say that I have AMAZING results every single time I go! Zethina, the owner, actually went to the same high school I did, and she’s not only an extremely talented makeup artist, but an amazing business owner and generous woman! I’ve had several Shellac manicures done there and have been pleased with each one. Sherly and Jennifer are both great nail techs! Their pedicures are also great! I haven’t had the opportunity to do any other services yet, but believe me I will. I also go to Salon Michele Rene which is located inside Zethina’s and have had amazing results there as well. Michele is awesome and both Alyssa and Ashley are wonderful! Alyssa has give me amazing updo’s for fancy events and even just recently did an all-​over color of a deep auburn/​mahogany color for fall that I absolutely fell in love with. Zethina gave me free samples of eyeshadows for my new color and is always giving me new ideas and showing me the trends. I have found my hot spot and my niche and I’m going to find it hard to go anywhere else! Customer service at its best!

Jen did an excellent job on my nails. She was friendly and listened to what I wanted. I will definitely be back!!!

I bought one of those one deal offers for a «cactus body wrap». I didn’t know what to expect, the place is a little far away from where I live, but for the price I decided to get it. Noël did my wrap, she was really sweet and professional. I loved the wrap. I saw several signs that said they would give you a complementary make up touch up. I was excited about it because I had not done my makeup (I had a migraine earlier) and I had to go pick up my kids from preschool. Noël said «oh yes, Zethina will touch up your make up». That was my only disappointment. When I was ready to get my touch up, Zethina was busy fixing shelves. Noël was nice enough to put some concealer and mascara.

I have had Shellac nails done at two other «salons» (and I use the term loosely) in Phoenix, both with horrendous results. Uneven nail color and peeling with both almost convinced me that all the hype around this new 14 day manicure was just fluff. Not to be swayed, I thought I would give it one more go.
I am so glad I did! Jennifer at Zethina gave me a beautiful «Shellac» manicure and I can’t wait to go back for my next one. I am sold!
Zethina is a beautiful, classy salon with a great atmosphere and a cute shop upfront. If I am ever in need of a massage or professional make up application, this is the place for me.

Had «Shellac» nails done by Jennifer. She was great: unpretentious and concerned with how I wanted them to look, not how she thought they should look.
Shop was very clean and had lots of nifty things to look at while I waited. (I was early for appointment.)
Prices were higher than what I was used to but this would be considered an upscale salon.
I would have preferred more staff available as I had wanted my brows done but there was no one available to do it.
Overall a very nice experience. It’s been two weeks and my Shellaced nails still look great!

I’ve been to LOTS of day spas. I wanted to treat a friend to a facial and of course, enjoy one my self. I had checked out Zethina online and found a clip of her on a local TV show. My facial was incredible. The esthetician was very experienced. After our treatments we had our makeup done. My friend’s makeup was very out of date and mentioned that to the receptionist. Zethina personally did her makeup and she looked gorgeous. My friend liked it so well, she made it a point to sleep on her back so it would look good the next day. What a hoot!

I had the most AMAZING 1.5 hour massage with Carol. This is the second time I’ve had a massage from her, and I can’t wait for the next one. She takes the time to ask about you, what areas to concentrate on and what if any places to avoid. The use of the hot rocks in addition to the massage is HEAVENLY!
I highly recommend both her and Zethina Cosmetics.

Please, please, please do yourself a favor and visit this place. It is mash up of relaxation, crazy-​busy, gorgeous colors, an amazing array of make up and tools, really cool jewelry, stunning before and after photos and great music.
I went to see Zethina today based on a friend’s recommendation. The appointment was for custom foundation matching, but despite being very busy, Zethina took her time with me, consulting on colors, doing my face and even showing me how to apply false lashes. I was so pleased with how I looked– really glamorous but soft, still me. I plan to return very soon for more makeup and a massage. I can’t say enough how impressed I was at the place, the quality of the makeup, and Zethina herself.
