Ok so I am not big on chinese food but I was looking for something to eat. My bf lives in the area and recommended this Chinese food place. He had a menu and i decided to take a chance. Lol I ordered bbq wings as a substitute for their usual buffalo wings. They didn’t give me a problem in the change and there was no extra charge. So that was good. In addition I ordered a large pork fry rice. It took about maybe 30min, I was not watching the time but it could have took less than 30 mins to arrive. My bf said they forgot the free soda, so check the order before the delivery guy leaves. But I dont drink soda so I didn’t care. The wings were fried well, but I couldnt eat the tip because of the feathers. Typical for Chinese food lol. Next time I would ask them to cut off the tips. Otherwise the wings were very good. The rice was good, it was yellow and had green peas onions not sure if carrot was in it. I really like the food. I want to try it again next week. It’s giving my place around my house a run for its money. So try it out. I didnt get sick and most importantly it was not greasy.

The food here is great! I love it, but the wait is way to long, I always have to wait 20 – 40 minutes when I go there.

I don’t understand the terrible reviews. This is the best Chinese food in this area and I’ve lived here half my life. Service is always quick and delivery time averages between a half hour to an hour. The lunch specials last till 4 and include a free soda. The staff is always polite. The restaurant is best for takeout but there are about 5 – 6 roomy tables if you prefer to eat in. The food is good. Chicken w broccoli, lo mein, pork fried rice, General Tso’s, Sweet and sour chicken, fried chicken, Chicken teriyaki are all good. Ask for your food cooked in garlic sauce for extra flavor. The sweet and sour sauce is sometimes a lil too sour but I love when I taste the pineapple in it. It all depends on the cook. The egg rolls and fried wontons are extra crispy. Soups are just ok, but not what I go for. Lunch specials are large with only slightly less food than the dinner specials. Dinner specials include soup and soda. I’ve eaten here, at least 3 times a month, for the past 20 years, and the food has never made me ill. I prefer the weekday cook over the weekend one.

Ever since I first looked for this place on Unilocal,I’d been meaning to give it a fair review to offset the singular previous one. This is so much better than a one-star place! Okay, it’s Chinese takeout so it’s not realistic to expect a gourmet experience. What does matter is that the food is tasty(which it certainly is), and that the service is quick and incident-free. I never have to wait around any longer than I should, and the food is pretty consistent. They make it extra crispy if I ask, they make it extra spicy if I ask. Free soda with every dinner combo, too. Nice.

While at a friend’s house, we decided to order from a local Chinese food take-out. He did not know of one off hand, so we turned to the Yellow Pages for help. The closest one in proximity to the house was Yip Szechuan Gourmet. We ordered a small amount of food, 4 items in total, and the delivery took almost an hour and fifteen minutes. Strike 1. The General Tso’s Chicken was in a container so small it looked to be about 4 pieces of chicken and two pieces of broccoli. In fact it was. The white rice was almost a mushy somewhat polenta-like looking thing and the fried wontons, fried so long they were inedible. The sweet and sour chicken was OK. Strike 2. After dinner two out of three of us were very sick. Surprised? I wasn’t. Strike 3. Bye Bye Yip.
