My daughter is doing math drills and reviewing pre-​algebra this summer. At Glendale Top Learning, the owner, Christine, also monitors the lessons and children’s progress in addition to the tutor. She is «very» thorough, organized, and calm — three big pluses! Private lessons are $ 50/​hr, and small group lessons are $ 25/​hr., but discounted to $ 20/​hr when you pay 4 weeks at a time. Though my daughter is signed up for a small group lesson, often, she is the only student.
I used to tutor geometry and algebra, but I am pretty short fused when it comes to teaching my own daughter. In short, I canot do better than what Top Learning Glendale does. p. s. Top Leaning is a franchise, and the quality of each center depends on the individual franchise owner.
