This review is long overdue, you want to teach respect & discipline learn it yourself! Nice to run into someone I trained with and hear how you bad mouth me, on why me and my family stopped going. Let me start off by saying sensei christopher iavarone is very good at what he does (salesmen). When we first started my daughter loved going she couldn’t wait to get there, as did my wife and myself when we joined. We liked the place so much we recommend my sister and a friends daughter to the place and both joined. As time went on we started taking more classes and I became very involved in the school he made the whole family feel like part of his. As time went on the school started to get bigger and so did the classes and with that discipline in the adult classes started going out the door real fast. After an issue involving my daughter where she was scared to go to class anymore we asked Mr. Iavarone if he can speak with her, and we explained what happen and why she was scared he said he would. Two months goes by and still no talk so we sat down again asking if we can pull he off the contract guess what next day he talks to her (the power of money works) she goes to a few more classes but she just don’t like it, like she used to. Next on to me nothing like going into the office to speak to sensei about a problem you are having, I asked is there anything I can do to help me not feel short of air while grappling cause at time I felt like I couldn’t breathe and to have it made into a joke and not help at all showed me what direction the school was going. I have so much more but just don’t feel like going into it or typing it all, but be warned just like a used car salesmen will do what he has to to get you to buy a car so will sensei christopher iavarone once he has you locked in to the contract things go downhill. This discipline you speak of went out the window a long time ago with that family vibe you once had when that money started rolling in. so how many original students are still there?
