Not recommended. This is under new ownership, by now it has been close to a year. We took clothes in and asked what it would cost. The girl at the counter gave me a price that was nearly double what it had been with the old owners. When I expressed surprise she immediately cut the price in half. When I got my clothes, on the bill there was an «environmental fee» per garment. That’s just fancy wording to make it look like they are doing something for the environment when in fact it is just an excuse to charge more money. When I queried what that was they took it off too, just like that. The quality is decent, I find it hard to screw up clothes but the manner in which they go about trying weasel you out of money is disgusting. Not recommended.

Steamer Cleaners in N. Glendale has new owner/management. I picked up my cleaning today and my 3 sweaters were in a usable bag which I will utilize for winter storage. No chemical odor they are organic cleaners. Owners/staff very friendly and aim to please. Good N. Glendale location. Excellent service. So any negative Unilocal postings prior to late 2015 try them again, you will be more than satisfied.

I guess I could understand a cleaners misplacing items once, but twice in one month? Also, this business is located in a shopping plaza and parking is very limited. Unfortunately the long haired guy who works the counter feels he should park his white BMW in the space directly in front, making it even more difficult for customers to park. Poor customer service.

Bottom line-they don’t have their act together. My last two experiences have been awful. First, they lost my pants. I walked out of there thinking that’s it, never again. But, they called me in a day to let me know that they found them. I went back and to their credit, they did not charge me for the dry cleaning. The next time, I went there to pick up my shirts and again, the guy struggled finding them. He went in the back and shuffled through a pile of notes and was able to find the shirts. I want to like these guys, they are close to my house, but from my experience, one does not have a warm a fuzzy feeling when you walk into the place that your garments are safe. For me, that’s reason enough to never go there again.

Wow. My wife wanted to use these cleaners after seeing and ad flyer. So we dropped off my suits(Hugo boss and a few other items). They said it was going to be ready Friday and it wasn’t. Ok. So Saturday I go back and this time they can’t find it. I spend over an hour waiting there with them ignoring me till I finally say why don’t I go run some chores and come back. I come back a cpl hours later and they still haven’t found it. No apology either. They said maybe someone took it by mistake and they will bring it back. What!!! I gave them my cell phone # and had to go to work. Finally they call me with news they found my cloths. I go back they still don’t say sorry and charge me. 2 days of irritation. Don’t go there if you care about your cloths because they don’t!

I asked them to CLEAN my jacket, then I would bring back buttons to replace. 3 days later? NOTHING done! They told me they were waiting to receive my buttons 1st, even though I EXPLICITLY told them to go ahead and clean the jacket and I would think about having the buttons replaced. They did NOTHING to my jacket, they had my number and didn’t even call me to clarify. This was a day prior to me going out of town and I needed my jacket for the cold weather. I ended up having to clean my jacket myself, which was dirtier than when I brought it there with other people’s hair on it, and I replaced the buttons myself because they were charging WAY too much. Oh, and my husband has complained about them shrinking his pants as well. Boycotting for life.

They open early and stay open late. Family owned and friendly. I have shown up late and they opened up for me. Never had a problem with anything they have cleaned, and they have done a good job on minor tailoring. Prices are very reasonable even better with a coupon from local stores. Wish they had a frequent cleaner card as well.

pleasant folks whenver i drop-off/pick-up my cleaning. the person you give your stuff to counts each piece to ensure accuracy, clarify any special instructions — i try to make a point to specify«please launder, light starch» when i bring in my shirts, and i count them separately, to make i don’t get rung up for dry cleaning(not that they’d try to squeeze a few extra bucks from me by pulling a shady stunt like that, i just like to be sure we’re both on the same page). be advised: i once attempted to pay with a debit card there, and was told by my cashier that they had a policy of $ 10 minimum to use a card, no biggie. i brought in a tie with a spot, they did the best they could with it, and were upfront about telling me they couldn’t completely make it vanish. fair prices, good quality workmanship. reliable turnaround time. parking sucks(they share the lot with a ralphs, a baskin robbins, a subway, et al — you can see where i’m going with this). overall, recommended

I gave it a three star because I haven’t picked up my items yet. I dropped stuff off and then read the reviews and now I’m scared. I can tell you this, the woman that worked there had the personality of a paper weight and could barely act as if she could stand me. Not too friendly. The prices seemed high, but I don’t do a lot of dry cleaning so I’m not sure what the average is. I have to go back to get stuff so I’ll reserve my opinion, but let me just say… just because my name doesn’t end in –ian, doesn’t mean you have the right to be rude to me. I get it. Glendale is a predominantly Armenian town, but that doesn’t give you the right to be rude to «whitey». How come the Lebanese people are so friendly? Go Skaafs!

My hubby gets his shirts laundered here, so I thought I would save time and get some basic alterations done. Bad idea! I needed my Juicy pants hemmed up and some jeans. First of all, why were they super long after being hemmed? I was measured, by the way. Secondly, why was the hem on the Juicy pants way crooked, soooo crooked? So, they both had to be redone, after already waiting 1 week. Nope, not coming back. Looking for a new place to get my hubby’s shirts done too, don’t want to give them anymore money.

I WILLNEVERGOAGAIN. I had a similar bad experience as people below. I used to dry-clean in here, but when they made all over staines of my sweater, they said it is not their fault. I just bought LASTYEAR& wore 2 times. But they said that this is old sweater & I didn’t take care before I bring it. Even the bead’s color all came out, but they still said that it is not their fault. The price is not important whether it is cheap or not. There are bunch of places have reasonable price in LA. I just really disappointed with their attitude which just said that it is not their fault.
