I love Sylvia! My lashes always look absolutely amazing and she is super friendly ! The long story is I found her thru groupon, I had some lashes done by another place but wasn’t in love with them so I tried Simply Unique, Sylvia attempted to take off the few really old lashes I had on. And that’s when she discovered that the last place didn’t use medical grade glue and had glued them to my eyelid!?! Which could lead to infection and all sorts of nasty stuff. So Sylvia had the correct solution to remove the old badly done ones and rescheduled me for my full set. Her words say it all though«I’m mad because people who don’t know what they are doing, like gluing lashes to your lid, give the rest of us a bad name». That seemed so professional and dedicated to me. I have had a full set and 5 fills done by her and I always look amazing ! She has reasonable prices and a very comfortable office love her!

My moms has been coming here for a couple weeks now, and she loves Sylvia and the service she gives. I went in for my first appointment yesterday and ended up leaving with the best eyelashes ever! The eyelashes are very comfortable and the process is very relaxing! Highly recommended. For it being my first time doing something like this I’m glad I came here.

Oh gosh… so this is not quite a review on the services provided, mainly because my experience did not get that far. I called on a Monday for a Wednesday appointment at 3:30. I had quite a long drive in traffic to make my appointment and I made my best good faith effort to get there on time. I park my car at 3:42pm and I look down at my phone to see a text message from Sylvia stating that since I was already 30 minutes late for my appointment, her policy was that my groupon was forfeited. I frantically proceed to text and call Sylvia, confused because my appointment was confirmed via text for 3:30pm and feeling really horrible because I was late, but the call goes to voicemail. I am usually the person 15 minutes early and have time to get a Starbucks, so this situation is super foreign to me. Of course, I do a double take of my clock – at this point in time, it had been 12 minutes past my appt time. Although, I absolutely understand that I was the person late here, and I absolutely did not mean for her to be sitting around waiting for me(because as a fellow person in the service industry, I absolutely have nothing but the MOST respect for everyone’s time and effort), but I am writing this review because Sylvia didn’t really even honor her own policy – waiting 12 minutes before cashing in my voucher and locking her doors. Again, I know I was the one late, but I tried to call to tell her I was running late and that I was having trouble finding the place(I thought I had the wrong place initially because the front door was locked), but my calls went to voicemail. So I walk up to the locked door And try Knocking again… A masseuse just out from her session, not affiliated with Sylvia’s business answers the door and I ask for Sylvia. I look up at the clock hanging above the reception desk and it is 3:48. I give Sylvia another call and she does not answer. Then the owner of the spa(she was very nice) says she will try for me. So she calls Sylvia’s phone, gets her on the first ring and then tells me that Sylvia will call me now. Sylvia gives me a call, and I apologize profusely about my being late. She Says she has left the building and will not be coming back. I told her I would have texted earlier, but I was driving and trying to find the place so that I wouldn’t be even later. But even so, I tried to explain that she had texted me her 30 min. forfeiture policy –12 minutes after my appointment time. I was standing in her shop before 4pm speaking to her on the phone as she was driving further and further away. She proceeds to tell me she had a 3 week waiting list for lashes and the appointment could have gone to them instead. She also told me I was being disrespectful of her time and to put myself in her shoes. But, again I told her that I was so sorry that I was 12 minutes late and I never meant to disrespect her time. After a lot of apologizing on my part, she offered to take me later in September, and although I agreed initially, I subsequently contacted groupon for a refund. Perhaps, It would be better for the both of us if I just went with someone local. I got in my car, did the hour drive home. Currently on checking out mascara. Womp. Womp.

Silvia is completely the best. I have gotten massages from her, and a chakra balance. I only go to her for a reason, she IS the BEST. She makes it a completely comfortable time, always attends to you first, and works her magic. You will not regret going to her, you will always leave much better & brighter than when you came in :)

Silvia at Simply Unique Day Spa was Very Unprofessional. This was my first time getting eye lash extensions which did not last. After two days half of the eye lashes had already come off and I did not put on any mascara or eyeliner in those two days. I contacted Silvia as I had just left town to advise her of this and sent her a picture of how my eyelashes looked and she tried to blame it on the product I was using. Upon my return from my vacation I asked her if she had any cancellations and if so, could she fit me in and she sent me a text to come the following day at 9:30 a.m. I live about 45 minutes away with traffic. I took half day off and got there pretty early so as to not be late. At 9:31 a.m. when I saw that she was not showing up, I sent her a text and she responded by saying«your spot is tomorrow at 9:30». I called her right away and she advised her text inadvertently wrote in «tomorrow» instead of Friday and that was not her fault(who the heck would blame her cell for something like that… really her phone wrote«tomorrow» instead of «Friday»???) I told her it was not my fault that had happened, explained I had been there over 30 minutes waiting, driven far, taken half day off work and she said she could not accommodate me. I asked if she had that Saturday available and she said she was booked. I asked her to please work with me as this was unprofessional and she quickly got upset & said she had tried but it was not her fault her text sent the wrong date. She said she could not work with me and to contact Groupon to get my money back. I have never worked with someone So Unprofessional in my life. She was Rude, short tempered and never apologized for any of it. I have all her text messages with what happened. BUYERBEWARE!

I found this spa through a deal on Groupon which included a full set of lashes with 2 fills. It sounded amazing and her work looked great so I decided to try it. The spa is a small shop on Foothill in a quiet neighborhood. I had to fill out a form with medical questions since eyelash extensions are considered a medical procedure, according to Sylvia the eyelash artist. Sylvia’s room was simple and calm. She plays relaxing music while applying your lashes. My first time seemed lackluster. After over 2 hours, I felt like there was barely any difference. She stated that she would add more length any volume at the next session, which is booked in advance, not as needed. The lashes stayed on and were quite durable. I work out a lot, and I didn’t lose one eyelash during jiu jitsu class. The second time, Sylvia added longer lash extensions and I loved them. But then she told me that the next time, she would have to charge me full price if I shed too many lashes. Also, she recommends that you only use the mascara and eye makeup remover produced by Extreme lashes. The bad thing is, they’re not available upfront and she would have to order it. All together, Sylvia produces good work, but I have to remove a few stars because I don’t think it should take two appointments to get the desired look I wanted for my lashes. I never came back for my second fill because I’d rather spend my money on a business and environment that I would really enjoy being in.

Silvia is so awesome. She was able to set up a last minute appointment for me. This was my first time ever getting lash extensions I was really nervous but silvia took her time to explain step by step, what to expect, and how to take care of my lashes after. the room and ambiance is really comfortable and although the session was about 2.5 hours, i was comfortable the whole time. i loved my lashes! i was in a lot of doubt due to pretty much having such little lash but silvia was able to get creative and fill in as much possible to my real lashes. we scheduled my new fill appt and she explained some care tips for me before i left. overall, great experience. i’ll be coming back!

Her Touch Is Firm &Gentle When Need Be, The Ambiance In Her Room Is Very Comfortable, She Gives Great Advice For Post Care Treatment& Answers Questions About The Current Given Treatment Very Well. All in All, I Can Say Without A Doubt I Did Not Hesitate To Make A Follow Up Soon Enough.. .
