This place has good pizza. Has plenty of parking. Every time I get to this location I get satisfied with my meal. The location is nice and the area is clean. A good spot to watch a game. I recommend this place to you all. Don’t forget to invite!

All you can eat. When you just want a lot of guilt-inducing food and you’re in the area, this is a great deal. Short line to pay. Practically no line to get food. And the food was newly cooked when I was there. Mojo Potatoes Fried Chicken Salad Bar Plenty of parking.

1st visit to this particular branch and was pleasantly surprised as it looks really nice, very clean and the staff members were all nice as well as friendly. I planned to order the Pizza & Wings meal that comes with a small size 1 topping &6 pieces of wings for $ 13.99. However the lady in the register kindly suggested that I would save more $$ if I ordered them separately as they have the happy hour going on. The small pizza would cost only $ 4.99 for 1 topping. I really appreciated that as some establishment don’t really care to mention or suggest now a days. So I ended up saving $ 1.50 which may not be much but is still is something I’m happy with since I can use that amount to get soda else where. The promised time for take out was 15 minutes and they delivered timely, took only 10 – 12 min. The food were arranged nicely as if they took time in placing the toppings on my pizza(I got an extra topping — extra charge) and the chicken & mojo were placed neatly in the box. The staff that handed me my order also did not rush me out, she actually took time to repeat what I ordered, then asked me if there’s any condiments I would like. Wow! I am impressed, as the one I used to go to in Monterey Park did not deliver the same experience. Thank you and keep up the good work.

Line to order was ridiculously long. Overpriced pizza $ 26 for a large. Incompetent staff. Phone order lady barely spoke any English. They changed the channel during a UFC fight while me and another patron were watching. Completely rude and distraction. I left immediately.

This is one of our spots in Glendale. We go here whenever we get a craving for DEEPFRIEDCHICKEN&BEER! And of course PIZZA! The ambiance here is always loud. Very loud most of the time. Always there’s someone having a birthday party, sometimes multiple birthday parties. Group get together, & of course the loud drunken guys cheering for their favorite team. I personally enjoy it here. Definitely not a date spot. Family, & children friendly place. We always order: 2x DRAFTBEER 2x Orders for EXTRACRISPYFRIEDCHICKEN&MOJOPOTATOES(gotta mention«Extra Crispy») Otherwise, they will fry it regularly by default. Make sure to get yourself a bowl of RANCHDIP for both the Chicken & Mojos. DELICIOUS!!! We also order BBQCHICKENPIZZA with EXTRABBQSAUCE! The staff here are mostly okay. There have been a few times where a lady manager was kind of rude, but our last few visits have been pleasant with the same lady manager. We have been regulars here for a long time, & we shall to continue to be regulars here for years to come!

Shakeys buffet is the best! Everything is always fresh. The only complaint I really have is when you request a pizza(during the buffet time) they tell you to wait for the bell when it’s ready but by the time you get up there, whoever is in line pretty much finishes it. That’s a little annoying since we request and we wait for it. Parking is big and there’s always parking available.

My daughter went to shakeys pizza with my mother and she went to the arcade with her fiend. They went to get there prizes and the man was totally rude my daughter told me. She told me that the man was saying all the kids to hurry up and my daughter told me that he seemed like he was in a hurry and when he was doing someone else’s he pushed away my daughters hand to show someone the toys

A-OK! Yes it’s not foodie central, Up in coming, Exotic or organic BUT ITSOLDSCHOOLCOMFORT. The pizza has a buttery crust and is soft. The sauce has a unique flavor as well. The chicken although oily was crispy and juicy, plus the skin tasted pretty good. The mojos were awesome as usual. Tasted just as yummy 20 years ago. Now what I appreciate about this place is that it’s super family friendly. There should be more restaurants like this. It’s affordable, first of all, and offers some pretty good family deals for 4 people, 6 people, and 8 people. For $ 50(8 peeps) you get two large one topping pizzas, 8 pieces of fried chicken or 10 chicken tenders, and 2 large orders of mojos. Plus they have the play area for kids/adults to play. So you eat, drink, and play all in one! Yeah it’s not amazing, but I appreciate what they offer and it gets the job done :)

So the ads finally drew me in :/let me just say the price is ok but the food isn’t.i guess you shouldn’t go in expecting greatness but atleast add some salt and pepper. The pizza is just crust, sauce and a few toppings again I’m not expecting much but come on management throw alittle spice around please. it seems like most people there could care less and alot of families that i assume are there because of the price. the salad bar is stale and you shouldn’t try the wilted lettuce or the sad veggies that surround the sad greens. tell the employees to please throw out the items left from the previous buffett. its not a classy place you know that people. In closing avoid if you can cause I’m surely not coming back. bathroom break #2 if you know what I’m saying.

Shame on you Shakey’s! Came in for some pizza, chicken and mojos. Shakey’s pizza is famous for their pizza, chicken, and mojos. I received what I ordered and the pizza and chicken were up to par, BUT the mojos were hard, dry, over-cooked and HOLLOW! The mojos I remember eating before were soft and you could tell they were fresh. These were definitely not fresh. I believe they must’ve changed the recipe, frozen them, or something else not mentioned. Yes the pizza and chicken were satisfyingly good, but it went downhill fast with their signature mojos. Dry and hollow, SHAME *ding*.

Came to this glendale shakeys last night for the 1st time … I love shakeys pizza .the pizza is so good and they have games to keep my boys busy sports for my hubby . So I was excited to find one not to far from our house … But sadly I will never come here again the store manger Claudia is very rude !! And unprofessional !! I’m not even sure how she got the job she is not people person at all … I got the salad bar the lettuce was wilted it had brown marks all over it !! The beets were so sour and the veggie mix fizzed in my mouth. It was gross and very old !! I let one of the girls that worked know it was not edible she said tell her and pointed at the manger Claudia so I explained to her that many things at the salad bar were rotten she tossed a plate at me I said sorry but I rather have money she said I have to check it 1st so I went back to my seat and she got a plate tested the items she removed all the items except the lettuce .no one replaced the items with fresh ones the more the likely did not have the supplies to replace it … My family and I where there having pizza chicken and mojo she never came back to out table. I was at shakeys a good hour and a half more she avoided me . I called corporate because I was treated so poorly they said they would get back to me and they never did !! What a shock !! Then I got a reply from shakeys do to this Unilocal I explained what had happen they said that they would get back to me it almost the end of August and never herd anything !! It very Clear they Do Not Care about Customer service at all !! It start at the top it clear to me if corporate dose not care how poorly customers are being treated or there sever old food then why would a store manger !!

My kids and husband love it here. They get to eat there pizza and play games. I myself do not think the pizza is good because it’s all frozen products. Nothing is made fresh it’s all been shipped from the company and defrosted so to me it’s disgusting but the kids like it so once in a while I let them come here and have lunch. It’s a good place for a big group of people and food is very inexpensive. The arcade area is my kids favorite place they love that they get prices with their winning tickets. Overall it’s an ok place to take your family once in a blue moon but this is no way healthy.

May 20, 20158:21 a.m. We ate there yesterday before we left LA for the lunch buffet. We arrived at 11am with my husband and sister. Right after we came home in Daly City, California… its the worst nightmare both for my sister and husband. They’ve threw up constantly until this morning. They didnt get sleep because they have the worst vomiting ever. Vomiting plus diarrhea the whole night. Now, we are here at ER of UCSF Hospital. Lets see what happens next. They got food poison!!! Dont go here EVER!!!

This place has horrible food. The pizza tastes like cardboard literally — it gives frozen pizza a run for the money on blandness. The mojo potatoes, seriously, they taste like crap. Who is the fool who thinks that the walls of heaven are lined with Mojo potatoes. He must think dressing up includes wearing your nice football jersey to dinner! I can’t believe that someone actually placed a review for this place.

I can tell they’re working hard on their ratings here– Here is why: 1– there were no less than three employees cycling around our table asking if we were ok, offering sauces and anything else they could offer. 2– it is very clean in here, including the bathroom. Tables were busses and wiped down promptly and I did not see a sticky floor anywhere. 3– the food was fresh, hot and fast. We got here at 6 on Friday and it was not busy. It’s now 7:15 and it’s still not busy. I am guessing the mediocre reviews are the reason why. **Give this location a try!** Games: my kids are happily wasting quarters in the back as I type. My sister informs me that the machines aren’t as good here as the Alhambra and San Gabriel locations, which we have visited both in the last few months.(We live in Pasadena, so between all local locations.) Alcohol: we ordered some beer and wine– all was fresh and tasty, including the draft beer. Atmosphere: there are a lot of tables set up in long rows, great for groups. Unlike other shakey’s, this one feels less cavernous and noisy. And they’re pumping out some pretty awesome oldies music on the overhead– not too loud but loud enough to sing along. :-) Parking: free lot behind. Overall– I like this one better than the other two I mentioned.

Have you lost your mojo? You know where you can find it… right? Shakey’s! Well, in the form of a potato anyway. You will order at the register, get a number and your food will be brought out to you in a timely manner. There is a small arcade for kids that takes tokens and a robust prize gallery. There are lots of flat screen TV’s for game watching. The staff is very friendly and do a great job of keeping the restaurant clean. The food is priced well — and your family will leave happy. This is a good place for a carefree — elbows on the table — family dinner. Expect rowdiness.

If you’re looking for a spot that keeps everyone pretty happy, this is probably it. Plenty of comfort foods to get everyone full, as well as a small salad bar, which I think I only saw people using to get ranch dressing… Anyway, tv’s, beer, and comfort foods. Food itself isn’t exactly high caliber for the buffet, but what do you expect when the meal is less then $ 10/person? I think I better go work off some of the mojo potatoes now…

Hands down best pizza on earth. If you don’t get the thin crust, you are a terrorist. And the mojos? Get the f**k out of here. Amazing! Rumor has it the walls of heaven are lined with mojo potatoes The chicken is great. Flavorful and juicy. Quality all around. I’m baptizing my first born here.

First off I’d like to say a big f*ck you to this Shakey’s and here are the reasons why. 1) Some chick was mopping the floor, forgot to place the yellow cone in the spot and I almost busted my ass while attempting to grab an ice cold refreshing Pepsi. She said«Oh, be careful» Yeah no shit lady, but how about moving that caution sign to a visible spot instead of by the dirty dish cart. 2) Grandbaby was playing a couple of their games and scored some tickets to «buy» some shitty toys. She pointed at some paper Chinese finger cuff shit and the woman behind the counter handed it to her(by the way same woman that almost made my ass slip with her dumbass mopping), grandbaby changed her mind, as most three year olds do and after only holding it for 3 seconds placed it back on the counter and asked for something else. The chick said that she couldn’t exchange it because my grandkid had already touched it and it was their policy. I asked her to please show me a written version of that policy and of course she couldn’t, she just kept saying it’s policy, and that she had already touched it and that she would have to toss the item in the trash as they are very concerned about hygiene and the such. Ok lady, if you’re that concerned about hygiene then why did you hand the toy to my grand daughter without any gloves on or without applying hand sanitizer to your own ‘just-mopped-the-floor hands? She just stared at me like a deer in headlights, not knowing what to say. Finally she said«Go ahead and pick something» with an attitude. I did, and I was half tempted to run my hands all over that shit just to make a point, but I didn’t. 3) The food sucked. The pizza was dry and brittle. It’s as if they spread some ketchup on a cracker and added cheese. The vegetables smelled like an old wet rag and tasted like they had been frozen for years and over boiled, the rice was a little mushy not too bad, and the fried chicken and mojos were good as fuck In closing, this Shakey’s blows and i’ll be hitting the Burbank location from now on.
