North American Title Company

I’m purchasing a property in Sacramento, CA and went to this branch since it was located closest to me. I gave them a personal check for the escrow deposit. Apparently, despite being the same company, they are on different banking systems so they males my check out and apparently it got lost in the mail. They didn’t bother to contact me personally and just send emails telling me the check didn’t arrive, they don’t know where it is, and I need to wire the money to them. So now I’m stuck paying a check cancelation fee, wiring fee, and late just because their company didn’t do a good job of tracking their own money flow. Ridiculous. Large company with little regard for their clients and I would avoid them completely and go with another escrow company.

I use North American quite a bit for my real estate transactions and they have been nothing but a pleasure to work with.
