I’ve been to this nationwide location a couple times and each time I go, the employees are just plain rude, it feels like they’re annoyed of being there. I asked a question about my insurance telling them that I was on this certain plan and if it made a difference and the front office girl with glasses and dark curly hair just rolled her eyes and said«you should of told me that when you called» with attitude. Anyways, I’m not sure if it’s a nationwide policy for the employees to be rude with patients because I’ve been to a couple more locations and the customer service is pretty much the same.

I have never had glasses before and was looking forward to getting a pair to help my nearsightedness. The doctor was nice and everything went well until it was time for me to pick out my glasses. I was left alone to search for a pair all by myself while the employees sat behind their desk. As I said before I have never worn glasses so I really had no clue as to what I should be looking for or what kind looks good with my face shape or anything! It took me a while to find a pair and I had to take photos of myself wearing different ones in order to get my Mom’s opinion since no one else was bothering to help. Fast forward to talking with an employee about specifics for my glasses. She asked me if I wanted transition lenses and a few other things and I said no because I felt I didn’t need them since I wont be wearing my glasses everyday. Then she asks if I want anti-glare and she did NOT stress the importance of this ATALL so I said no. I know it sounds stupid but I really had no idea that unless you want to look at stretched lights and severe glare — you must purchase anti-glare. After waiting a while I finally get my glasses and I try them on and bam everything is outrageously glary. I then had to pay $ 80 to get the anti-glare put on, which could have been avoided if the employee was more helpful and informative. After waiting once again I finally get my glasses back and everything looked much better. However, I am such a newbie with glasses that I didn’t know how they’re supposed to feel/fit. Basically, my glasses really need to be tightened but since no one was nice enough to help me and tell me a little bit about how tight they’re supposed to fit I now have to go back again to get this fixed. I wont be going back to this location though, which is better for me anyways as I live over 20 minutes away. I wouldn’t recommend this location!

My eye appointment was a total FAIL. I spent the day home, sick, and doped up on decongestants. Around 5:45 or so, I was in my jammies, has just made a cup of tea, and ready to crawl back into bed. Then it hit me. I had a 5:30 appointment. I freaked out a little and scrambled around trying to find the phone number. I finally found it, called, apologized profusely, and asked if it was still possible for me to come in, or should I just reschedule. They said, sure you can still come in if you can be here in 7 minutes. I said I certainly could, since I live nearby. So I threw on some clothes, grabbed my keys, ran out the door, jumped in my hoopty, careened around the block, broke a few minor traffic laws, and was at their desk at 5:56. I addressed the first woman behind the desk, and told her that I was there for my 5:30, sorry I’m late, etc etc. She said that she didn’t see me in their appointments. I was confused by this, and asked if this is the office I’ve been talking with on the phone. This is when the other woman chimed in, and said, «yes this is the office, but it’s 6pm at the doctor can’t see you now. But we can schedule you for tomorrow.» That would have been fine, if she told me that before I dropped everything and risked life and limb to get there in time. I realize I effed up by forgetting my appointment, and being late. But they should’ve been straight with me from the get-go, and just told me it was too late, and that we should just reschedule. So I told them, «nevermind,» and left. I’ll go somewhere else.
