My fiancé and I came here to get a gift for my mom(her future mother in law). I didn’t know this, but women love hand creams and crap like that. This store has a lot of stuff like that. If you are shopping for a woman, this is the place to go. Although, I don’t know if I’d come as just a guy since you won’t know what you’re getting and might end up picking something that will totally offend whoever it is you’re shopping for.

I have to say the sales ladies are great. I went in yesterday with a defective product. They couldn’t return it in store but gave me an 800# and they shipped out a replacement right away. Their signature hand massage are great and they are really helpful. Products and customer service is always great.

Maybe it’s just me but I had a hard time finding the store. It’s upstairs, across from the target, in a corner that doubles as a bridge. First the sales woman gave me ice water. Then she told me that the shea butter in my body lotion comes from fair trade female farmers in Bukino Faso, just like it has since the 1980s. To be honest, this cream is quickly becoming my medicine. It’s the first body cream which has the double benefit of smelling good and nourishing my dry, easily irritated skin. 25% Shea butter baby!!! Even if it is the refined variety.

I’m a fan of L’occitane products, but I absolutely HATE how the sales associates really push customers to buy more and more and more. If it’s not more they get you to buy, then they’ll push you to buy the more expensive variety even though you came in intending to buy something else.
The most popular line I’ve heard from both the Glendale and Sherman Oaks’ L’occitane sales associates is: «Oh, this is going to be discontinued so you should stock up.» I’m NOT going to stock up on something I’ve never used before, so please, STOPPUSHINGME. I’ll be buying their products online or at Sephora instead of at their actual stores.

OH the smell in this place is GREAT! Love their products! Candles are my favorite. A little pricey but worth every penny!

I’d give it no star but its not possible. I went there with 2 kids(4 – 3 year old). The guy who helped me kept on pushing me to buy more and more stuff that I didn’t need and foolishly I accepted just to leave as soon as I possible can tire out my kids. Ok, so we are there for almost 20 minutes and we are now ready to pay and he’s defiantly having a crisis with the register. I look away for a moment and then realize that he is, now, ringing up another boy ahead of me. I don’t care if he «the customer» is cute or not. I was first and I have kids that need to get out. Serve me appropriately.

I went in here over the weekend because my wife can’t turn down a «quick» look in any and all beauty soap lotion whatever kinda shop. So we went in here to check out the various items for her various needs. Sometimes it’s oily skin sometimes its dry skin same goes for oily hair and dry scalp. Personally I think it’s just a reason to go shopping. But whatever. They got tons of different oils, creams, shaving stuff, shampoos, etc. She ended up not getting anything here. the reason being she/we had already got some stuff at Lush so she was kinda looking at items to purchase after giving the Lush stuff a try. Personally I wonder if head and shoulders and Noxzema from rite aid would do the same thing, then again I’m a guy and also cheap. What was cool is there were testers of everything and the lady was helpful in suggesting items for my wife. If your a girl or metrosexual give it a shot.
