The yogurt here is good. Not as big of a selection as some places. Good selection of toppings though. The guy working when I went was pretty worthless. I asked to sample a couple flavors and he said«Ya sure» as if I was bothering him way too much even though there was only one other person in the shop. He went behind the counter and started talking on the phone. Finally I realized he was never going to give me my samples so I gave up and just poured some onto my finger. It made quite a mess. Hope he enjoyed cleaning it up! When I went to ring up my yogurt he made a point of saying it was his first day. Ya, don’t get too comfortable there, buddy. Long story short, ok yogurt, bad service. With all the competition of yogurt shops in the area I can’t imagine them staying around long. I highly doubt I will be back. Next time I’ll stick with Juju Berri.

One of my biggest pet peeves about self-serve yogurt joints is when I pull the lever and my yogurt comes out soupy. That was my first beef with this place. My second is that they’re not consistent with the details they list about each flavor. Most of them said«non-fat» or «low fat», but some of them just said«contains gluten». When I asked the very unenthusiastic girl handing out samples if the Red Velvet flavor was non or low fat, she said with a shrug«well, if it’s not listed on the sign, it’s probably neither.» So I’ll just assume it’s high fat. They do have a listing of all of their flavors and nutritional information for each flavor near the beginning of the line, however, Red Velvet was not listed. My favorite flavor at most places is the Plain Tart. I’ve had many different variations of Plain Tart at various places(some are more sour, some are more icy, some are creamy or sweet)…there is no need to add a hint of lemon to an already tart flavor. It just made it taste rotten. (Yes, I’m a yogurt snob, but rightfully so — I make it a point to try every place at least once. I prefer places that have mostly non-fat flavors and are consistent in yogurt texture/temperature, service, and cleanliness.) Note: I also forgot to mention the smells at this place. Because it’s so close to the cigar shop, it smells like cigar smoke outside. Inside(and I didn’t notice this too much, but my husband did immediately), it smells like a beauty salon. It’s next door to a salon so I’m guessing the ventilation systems are connected somehow, so some of the chemical smells seep through.
