Get there then order or it will be cold cold lamb is the worst then if that’s not One star for you then Worst customer service worst portion size 3 wedges of potatoes with a meal meat size is small as well because you can order bbq by the pound from any market it just cost a $ 1 more per pound price for them to cook it for you final line ripe off don’t go here they may know how to cook bbq a little but but they need to grow some customer service skills first and then grow people skills then up there portions but that will never happen so they are gone from my list of bbq places

Wow. Never thought I’d find a place that trumps Raffis. The food is spectacular.
My mother, Tita, and I had 2 pieces of beef luleh, an order the fish, ikra, and hummus.
The luleh was probably the best luleh I’ve had anywhere. The fish was amazing. Better than the white fish at Raffis, but is steep in cost. You get 3 fatty pieces for $ 25. To top it off we had some strange branded ice creams for dessert.
Caveats: to-​go only style. They have an outside patio that is kind of lame and reeks of cigarette butts. Customer service is definitely hit or miss. It’s not hard to be kind and courteous. No butter for the rice.
I can see this place doing well in a few years given they improve their customer services. Food is excellent.

One of thee BEST kebob sandwiches/​plates I’ve had by far. The meat is SO juicy and tender, just talking about it makes me drool! I’ve tried both, beef and chicken lule, and I loved both!

This is simply the highest quality food on the planet. Don’t be scared of the location, as it is tucked away in the back corner of the building and parking lot. The pork chops are the best you will ever have in your life! I have not ventured past these yet; but I plan on. It:). This is a must if your anywhere in California:)

I used to love going I this place but now their under new management wich sucks I went in there with my mother wich we usually used to but this time we had to wait for 40 mins for two sandwiches wich they couldn’t even get me the kabab I wanted he just made a reg chicken sandwich because he had another order to do for the kababs… And the price for two sandwiches an a can of papsi almost 19 $ are you kidding me never going here again new management suck customer service 0

If you are serious about eating amazing grilled meat come here. I ordered the beef kabob sandwich. Juicy chunks of marinates charcoal grilled beef wrapped in lavash bread with fresh parsley and little bit of onion. Really good food! They don’t have tables to sit down… You take it to go, or eat it standing in the shade of their little patio area. Enjoy!

Oh yeah. Finding places like this make life worth living. My brother and sis-​in-​law were in town for a quick visit and this was on my hit list. From Glendale Ave WALK AROUND BACK as it is tucked back in the corner. … the place isn’t an american restaurant sit down tables where you order eat waitress asks if everythingisallright type place. This place is about the food.

Myyyyyyyy favorite kabob and luleh chefs! Hidden place all the way in the back behind all the other shops. Drive into the parking lot, go all the way down, and make a right towards the back. It’s cash monay only. It’s best to call in ahead of time to place your order. It’s a hit or miss with the service. There’s a very sweet lady there. When she’s not there, there’s a guy who is very straight forward, which can be mistaken for rudeness. Don’t take offense. They’re all cool peoples.

I’m not sure why people were saying the lady was rude but she was super sweet and nice. Heck, I was short a dollar and she said it’s fine. We ordered two lule kebob plates to go and the plate consisted of two huge kebobs, rice, grilled tomato, onions and grilled jalapeños. We also got two cutlets which tasted homemade. The best part was the lule and the bread! Amazing, meat was fresh, juicy and tasty. I will be back.

Let’s face it this place is oh so popular for their house made different «salads» or as we know them in English side dishes. My ultimate favorites are the beet salad with sour cream, walnuts & garlic. So fresh, clean & simple. The 2nd favorite is the mushrooms salad which is sliced mushrooms tons of dill in a mayo sour cream sauce. I can’t get enough of this. They are sold by the lb. Cash only. Service don’t expect much just go in get it & go simple as that.

Customer service doesn’t exist here. Former Soviet Union type of attitude runs in most Armenian establishments. The beef kabob is worth the rudeness. Make sure you tip the lady in the kitchen, she’s the one making you the great food.
