Do not seek urgent care services here. I showed up on a Sunday at 11am. The door marked «24 hours» was locked and nobody came to let me in until I called the phone number. Then the internet was down so they couldn’t verify my insurance, and acted very skeptical about whether I was actually sick. Overall the two dudes who were there seemed a little irritated I’d interrupted their time alone in a totally empty office, and tried to make me feel guilty about the fact that they’d have to call the on-​call doctor. While I waited for them to try to verify my insurance via phone they were watching Star Wars fan videos on their iPads. Ridiculous. I then went to the Rapid Care on Chevy Chase, where I was treated with kindness, diagnosed with bronchitis, given a prescription and on my way in 25 mins.

I went here for an old workers comp injury that kepts lingering and I wanted a permanent solution so I wouldn’t have to come back. The first appt I had was with Dr. Lee. We talked about how this happened and he gave me some great exercise to do. He also wanted me to come back in a week to see how it worked. Unfortunately i got sick and came 2 weeks later and met with a different Dr. I can’t remember his name. Dr. Vi. Or something. He came in with a poor attitude, as if he had better things to do. like walk his dog.
I explained my situation since he was a new Dr to me. basically I work retail and need to wear heels. His solution was don’t wear them. ok i get it. it hurts so why punish myself.. But i still need to be elevated my look and as a women. heels do that. I asked what other things I could do because that wasn’t a solution for me. he was mad and said. well get surgery.. ok NOW you’re being ridiculous…
I came here for help. not for some bitter mid age asian guy to take his anger out on me. if he doesnt like helping people then quit your job and play in traffic. I work in the customer service industry and I dont always have the nicest clients. this is why i make it a point to always be happy and friendly. .clearly he’s not about that life and doesn’t take well to nice people.
I got so mad that i had to ask him if he was having a bad day…
Finally after me going off. he finally gave me the information I requested. Telling me this would take 2 months and I couldn’t wear heels until this healed and repeat the physical therapy I was doing at home. ok. I’m ok with that. i like answer… Thank u.
I was still mad. because how rude he was and requested to be discharged. Clearly he was too because he put I was completely ok and basically nothing was wrong with me on my discharge papers and I could resume back to normal working.
But than in the comment section he typed I needed to Rest. Ice.Compression. Elevation.. For my ankle.
I get that people fake injuries. I have NOT once missed a day of work because of this nor required any special arrangements for work. I truly just want my ankle healed.

This is the WORST and most unprofessional Drs office I’ve ever been too. I’ve come in twice now and with no patients around it takes 2 hours to get in and out. Everyone is texting and talking about personal things and no one is dressed in hospital approved clothing. The doctor was wearing a basketball jersey. It took a whole hour just to verify my insurance today after I have been here with the exact same insurance in the past. I will never come back to this urgent care. Completely the worst office I’ve ever seen.

This place is a joke. They kept putting me on a bike that was not the right height and the «therapist» literally told me «who said you need to have full extension on a bicycle?». They just read off a sheet and pass you from «therapist» to «therapist» throughout the session. If anyone can recommend a better PT place that takes workmans comp please do. I am desperate.

Took my son here for his physical for job requirement. The waiting room was very small, but they play movies on the TV so if you can get absorbed into the movie the wait time flies by! The staff was friendly, they honestly move as fast as they’re able to for it being such a busy clinic. We parked in the parking structure hoping the clinic validates, but we found out the parking structure is only validated by the hospital next door. The receptionist did inform me they have a free parking lot adjacent to the building, although I drove through and could not find parking (10:30 am). The parking structure is just as close, but only takes CASH at $ 2 per hour. Thank god we had cash on us. As for the doctors etc. they all seemed pleasant to me but i wasn’t the patient. It is to be expected if they aren’t unicorns and rainbows, as I said, this is a very busy clinic. Not bad… I wouldn’t object to going there again. Physical Therapy room was spacious and comfy, everyone that works in there is great too!

Came here for work clearance and dealt with them 4 times — 4 – 5 days in between, 3 – 4 weeks total.
The first experience was fine, it was early in the morning and the guy was 20 minutes late. This was a telling sign. There were 3 people waiting and one left prior to the guy in scrubs opened the door.
It took about 20 minutes for me to be called in.
The medical assistant was good but that was the most painful blood draw I’ve ever experienced (they use butterflies when they don’t have to). The guy «missed» a blood draw order so I had to come back for another one. I was then evaluated by the «doc» and made me do awkward grunts and coughs that were unnecessary (this is my third employee physical). Other than that all I had to do, from my understanding, was to come back for the TB results 2 – 3 days.
I came on a Saturday when they just opened and the guy didn’t have my paperwork or my files — couldn’t find my name in the system so just had me write my name and they’ll update it on Monday.
Wednesday, office called and I had to redo the TB test and an extra blood draw. Came on Friday and they had no record they called. Called in about 40 minutes, packed waiting room. Draw was better, still used butterfly (unnecessary), another TB test.
Office coordinator is the epitome of lackluster, couldn’t care less, just there to waste space — no customer service manners at all. Toxic work environment and I feel bad for the patients they «serve.»
The last straw was when that «coordinator» unhumanly reacted to my work schedule since I was there for 30 minutes just to have my TB skin test results read. Took her 2 seconds. Waste. of time/​space.
Avoid at all costs. Get names.

wait time is crap. unfortunately when you are forced to go for work testing what can you do. how hard can it be and how long can it take to have someone pee in a cup and blow in the breathalyzer. really people.

Total bullsh*t doctor. Boyfriend has chronic nose bleeds. We went in cause his nose wouldn’t stop bleeding for close to 15 minutes. The DOCTOR made a ghetto «nose clamp» where he taped two tongue depressors together with scotch tape… Prescribed him saline nose spray after my boyfriend had told him he had been using one for years. Paid $ 85 for an office visit cause the front desk employee could not verify the insurance. DO NOT GO HERE! Lazy doctors! Lazy workers! Gaaahh

Ohhhhhhhhh Fernando! He was so funny and really nice. He has an amazing personality and he made the visit fun. The girls in the front were very friendly, too!

The people are nice I give them that. Unfortunately the wait time is awful. My appointment was early in the morning and there were 2 – 3 people here before me. Yet my wait was over a half hour and the worst things is that i could hear the staff outside just hanging out and talking among themselves. If you have to come here be prepared to wait a long time.

The waiting room TV was playing Lord of the Rings. I thought that was pretty great considering usually it’s old crappy TV playing in these waiting rooms.
I was a tad disappointed that the receptionist didn’t try harder when we explained to her that I only had to pay co-​pay. We had to press her to call the insurance number to confirm. I would have had to pay much more if we didn’t do that.
The staff that took my XRays were outstanding. Very nice.
The doctor who saw me was genuinely empathetic and I liked him a lot.

First complaint: I waited for OVER AN HOUR to be seen. There were only 2 people in the lobby when I first arrived.
When I complained, the girl at the front said, «These people had appointments.»
I was fuming already because when I called ahead of time, I was informed that it was a walk-​in clinic and that I couldn’t make an appointment!
I went in for a terribly sore throat and my entire body was weak. I explained that I have Lyme Disease and that I had been breathing in ozone (by accident) several days earlier. I described my symptoms and I asked if it could be strep. The nurse replied, «No. It cannot be strep because you don’t have tonsils. It’s not possible to have strep without tonsils.» (Obviously, she needs to go back to school.)
Then, the doctor came in and refused to tell me what it was. He just said, «It could be a viral infection like strep.» (Strep isn’t a viral infection). And because the nurse was standing beside him, I said, «Are you sure? I don’t have tonsils.» He said, «It is still possible to have strep without tonsils.» I asked him to give me a strep test and he said that he was just going to go ahead and give me a prescription for Amoxicillan.
I asked if they could give me liquid amoxicillan because I like the flavor and it’s easier to swallow when you have a swollen throat.
The nurse said, «No, it’s not possible. It’s too difficult to figure out.»
So, I just rolled my eyes, smiled, took the prescription, and went down to the pharmacy and asked them to give it to me in liquid form and they did — easy peasy.
Not only do these people (the doctor & nurse) KNOW NOTHING about Lyme Disease, but a strep test is super easy to administer and only takes a few short minutes. Now, I’m taking antibiotics for what might actually be ozone toxicity.
I made an appointment with my Lyme doctor on Wednesday to run some tests. I spoke to his nurse and she said that it won’t hurt me to take the amoxicillan, so I should just do it until we figure out for certain what’s going on.
Stay away from this clinic if you have never been here before. New patients are treated like crap. And also stop going to this clinic if you HAVE been here before. You might blindly follow what these idiots are telling you!
They seem very nice, like they mean well, they just aren’t equipped with all the bells and whistles of what educated medical practitioners should have going on upstairs, if you know what I mean.
