Glendale Central Park

A cute small park. Attended a Street Food Cinema event here. They have a few benches and a small play area for children to play, it’s mostly an open grass area. No fences though, it’s right by Colorado/​Brand, so watch your kids please.

Had to pay my respects. The sculpture is simple yet speaks volumes. Being there it moved me quite a bit.

on a Sat night when the Galleria is crazy, the park is actually pretty mellow. On a warm night you can kick at one of the benches or stroll on the grass in almost solitude. Sure other people will have those ideas too but they wont bother you. Oh and if parking for the Galleria area has got you down, park on the far side of the park here, it basically shuts down and no one bothers you. Youre welcome.

Even though this park is small it’s nice to sit down or lay on the grass while relaxing, reading a book, or doing nothing. The park itself was built a few years ago, and it is well kept.
This park is walking distance to the library as well as the Americana at Brand.
This park doesn’t have a playground, which is not a problem.
