My sheeshoo and I were coming back from long beach and decided to try gauchos village(my sheeshoo kept talking about this place) So rushing stuck traffic to barely get a table by the hair of our chinny chin chins. We parked in the covered parking lot that is right next to the resturant from the bar enterence. It wasnt busy and the atmosphere was welcoming and strangely different then your typical american buffets. This is where you school on cultural sensitive and diversity. The price was about $ 40.00 each for an all you can eat health mederterianian? style side dish buffer, and at your table their are wooden markers painted, green yellow and red. The marker calls out one of the pirates from the carabbean if it has its color green in the air the waiter in diaper pants :) comes out with giant swords of meats poultry, pork, and beef… and one never forgettable grilled whole pineapple covered with sweet cinnamon on the outside… My suggestion is to keep the marker ALWAYS on green for this freshly sweet exotic flavored finale;begging you to come back again. Came here for a friends b-day dinner on a Saturday night and we had an absolute blast! The cuts of meat were delicious. I loved the sausages and filet mignon wrapped in bacon! Tried picanha(Brazil’s popular cut of beef) for the first time and it was to die for. They also have a great selection of wine, and a full bar. The highlight of my night was dancing with the Samba dancers. They were ansolu beautiful and very nice. And I was so happy to be able to shake my money maker with them!!! Will definitely be back.

Soooo good and soooooo much food! The pineapple is probably the best part out of the whole meal. The way they season and grill it is just amazing. I could eat that all day. A few meats were oily and fatty but majority of them were pretty great. I loved the sausages, although the second time is came around, they were cold:-/ Other than that, great place and amazing staff. Every waiter/waitress makes sure you’re taken care of.

Came here tonight(Friday night) and not worth the price. Very disappointed with the experience. We wanted to try the different selection and watch the dancers. Meat was eh. Nothing special. Salad bar wasn’t very appetizing either. The only thing I actually ate was the grilled pineapple. Which was fine, we were just excited to watch the dancers. Our reservations were at 5:30(right when they opened) and were told that dancers would be dancing throughout our dinner, despite our early reservation time. Then we were told 6:30, 6:45, and 7… Finally decided to just leave and they said if we waited, we can watch the dancers at 7:30. We wouldn’t have mind coming back later if they would have told us that there would be no dancers until later on. Still paid full price for our«dinner with dancers». Won’t be coming back here again.

This place is definitely a must if anyone enjoys a good atmosphere and good food! I was pleasantly surprised by the great food from the Buffett and also the tasty slices of steaks, chicken, sausages etc., which kept coming around like clockwork! I will definitely try this place again! I know my kids will love the experience and also the food! Great place for family and friends!

Came here a few times and the food was good but service was always«meh». I feel like they really push you to buy drinks and it gets annoying after a while. Contacted them via their website about two months ago regarding a 150+ people dinner and received no response. Great service, guys! Probably never coming here again.

We had a chance to revisit Gauchos Grill and we are really impressed with the recent changes. The meat was fabulous, especially the skirt stake, the tri-tip and the picanha. The Chimichuri was great as well. The service was very friendly and welcoming. We highly recommend visiting this place. We will definitely go back again.

I was not really impressed with this place this time around. A few years ago I visited the old location and the food was great and the ambience was much better. When I arrived we told the hostess that half of our party was here, we had a party of 11, and she refused to seat us. Not to mention the attitude she was giving us, but the other gentleman who approached us was very pleasant. After sitting we were creating right away from our waitress who was very helpful and nice as well. The selection of meat was great but the taste was not as good compared to the previous location. This location was much nicer in appearance but he quality was not as good. The dancers were very talented and looked very enthusiastic, I think they enjoyed our group because we were definitely the loudest in the restaurant.

This place is cheaper than some of the other Brazilian steakhouses and is also the only authentic Brazilian place in all of la! The food was great and seasoned just right! It had a nice atmosphere but the restaurant was a little empty(go during dinner). They were nice enough to cook the filet mignon without bacon for us upon request. It was a nice restaurant and I would definitely consider going again. Great staff and great food! This place will become my regular spot. I went for the second time and just fell in love! Great food

Attended a lunch reception here on a Sunday afternoon. We were greeted by the hostess and led to the back room where it was a semi-private affair in the space by the bar. Gauchos Village has a decent amount of space for a Brazilian restaurant. It was mid-afternoon so they weren’t too busy at the time. We got drinks at the bar and there was only one bartender. She was nice but wasnt the fastest with the drinks. There were 2 people ahead of us and we had ordered as she was making their orders and it still took a little while for our drinks to be made. The buffet part of the restaurant was decent. The spinach salad was good. The beef stew was good with the rice pilaf. The pasta salad wasn’t bad. The sauteed green beans were also decent. The garlic bread had some sort of sticky mochi-like center. It didnt quite expect that but I ate it anyway. As far as the churascaria meats, I liked the polish sausage and beef brisket. The pork tenderloin was very dry and I didn’t like the flavor. The garlic chicken was good. The other type of sausage had a very distinct herb seasoning that I did not care for. The roasted pineapple was interesting. I liked it. I’ve never had that before. Warm roasted pineapple was new to me. Service was decent. No complaints really. Like I said, it was a semi-private affair so it was a bit busy with families with toddlers and grownups all mixed into one space. The meats were just ok to me. Nothing stood out as delicious that I had to write about. Would I try Gauchos again? Maybe.

This was our second visit to this restaurant. We loved the new location and the décor. The place is casual, the staff is friendly and helpful and the food is great. The owner was always around making sure everything was okay. We visited the place on a Friday night and it was busy but we never felt unattended. The food is endless and the«gauchos» were always bringing our favorites, as we requested them. If you are looking for Brazilian food, this is a wonderful option.

Gauchos Village is just the epitome of a great Brazillian BBQ experience. I went there last Friday night and not only did I eat some delicious BBQ… Tri tip and filet mignon wrapped in bacon –my personal fav. But my date and I were treated to a live jazz band and samba dancing throughout the night. If you’re in the Glendale area I can’t recommend this place enough. Great food. Great vibe. And great staff!

The owner of this place is rude and useless. here is how he started his email when we asked of a rehearsal dinner party reservations for 30 people. his 1st line was: My name is Kevin Aksacki. Owen /President of Gauchos Village Brazilian Steakhouse. We are happy that you are planing to have your wedding rehearsal dinner here with us. Well… it started out great this way but to get confirmed information was poor and a nightmare. At one point you can even hear him breathing on the other end. He knew who it was on the phone. We tried 3 separate times to get him to confirm a solid date and that everything would be ok for our event. He never took the time to get back to us. EVER! If you are planning to have a big group here for a memorable celebration then don’t bother. Not worth it ATALL!!! From, Natalie, Mariann and Kris!

Amazing place, great ambiance and extremely well trained and friendly staff. This place has class on another level. From the moment you walk in its gorgeous Brazilian décor from ceilings to floors. And the food! OMG! Each bite is filled with so much flavor and gusto! The meat is always top shelf and the Gauchos are always on time with their delivery. They have the best stroganoff I’ve ever tasted in the buffet, you really get so much for your money. Highly, highly recommended! Amazing job bringing a piece of Brazil to the states.

My wife, Rose Marie, and I had the misfortune to select this restaurant for our Valentines Day dinner. We never even got a chance to try the food! The manager was incredibly rude to us. We had a reservation for 2:00PM. We arrived promptly at 1:55PM. The restaurant was almost deserted then. Now we know why. Less than 10% of the seats were occupied! We asked to be seated at a table for four, seeing that it was so empty. He said I can’t do that because we’re going to be so busy today. While he said this, we were standing next to a single couple occupying a table for four(4)! He said that the couple had been there since 12:00AM! That was two(2) hours earlier! Ironically, I have dark skin because I’m part Brazilian. The couple sitting at the table for four(4) were White. Could this be a case of racial discrimination?

I feel like I didn’t get the full experience when I was here because I didn’t go to a Dinner and went to lunch instead. I knew I had lesser options and I knew I would see the dancers. Other than that I generally thought that this place was alright. I’ve had better experiences and have had more options at Brazilian spots during their dinner time. *Spicy Chicken — This was one of the surprisingly good items considering i’m here to eat beef and the chicken was good. Nicely spicy and had good flavor. I would say to try everything that passes by just to try. **Beef Ribs — Whatever it is called. I have seen it heard as Picanya in other spots. The fatty and tenderness of this meat is what makes it great, and the flavor it was throws it through the roof. This is my favorite item in all the Brazilian spots. ***Grilled Pineapple — This is more of a celebratory mention since I don’t eat it, but my GF and friends love it and would be one reason to get. It’s pineapple on a spit, what’s not to love. I had a great time when I ate lunch here for my birthday. Thank you.

Office ordered from here from lunch, got the burger because heck it’s a steak place that means the meat should be really good and I love a good burger. NOT!!! The burger was drenched in Mayo(not listed as an ingredient) top and bottom bun soaked through. It think it was there to mask the fishy(as in tuna like fish) taste of the meat that I discovered after I removed all of the mayo drenched toppings from the meat. The fries where decent but one cannot live on fries alone and who wants to pay $ 15 for french fries. I don’t eat fast food but a McDonalds hamburger would probably taste better. As for the rest of their food, I cannot say and probably wont if the meat is this bad the last thing I want to do is waste my money seeing if it is.

I spent my 21st birthday party here and there is no other place that I would rather spend it at. The staff was very professional. The show, starting from the Latin dancers from one side of the restaurant to the acoustic singers in the other side of it make the environment funner and more amazing. We were very fortunate to meet with the owner who was an incredibly nice and humble individual. My birthday was truly unforgettable. THANKYOU!

This place was AMAZING! It’s absolutely different from anywhere else that I’ve been. This is the way it works. First, you get something from their buffet. Once you’re seated and you have your plate, people will come around and serve you a variety of meats! Customer service was great and the overall environment was welcoming. Definitely coming back. Great place for meat lovers!!!

Do you love men walking around with meat on swords?(No Homo) Well Brazilian food is for you! You wanna feel like you’re on top of the food chain even though you didn’t hunt, kill, skin or cook these animals? No worries, that all goes away when you see wave after wave of servers coming at your table with a festival of dead animals. If you’re vegan or vegetarian, stay away. You WILL have a heart attack seeing my fellow man eating a whole farms worth of cow and chicken. I knocked off a star because I love chicken hearts. They come on this little Game of Thrones-style needle sword and you can pop them like popcorn and taste amazing… like liver.(I love liver) But we asked a server and he said they came in late and were defrosting at the moment. The look on his face was textbook lies. I wanted chicken hearts, damnit! But gluttony is a sin so I took off a star only because of this. Their buffet-style salad bar is great and the cheese bread is on par with the rest of the restaurant. Once I break open my piggy bank, I’ll come back again.

This was my go to place for any special event. My husband introduced me to this place on our first date 6 years ago. I recently found out they relocated and couldn’t wait to visit the new location(maybe I expected more). Looks like they downgraded to a much smaller location. I did not like the setting. The old location had a nice average stage where they had a live band playing and Samba dancers. This new location has no stage which made it hard to see the dancers. Music was very slow compared to the other location where they had a live band playing. Disappointed they moved locations.

I’m not much of a meet eater, but when in Rio… I tried just a little of everything the very friendly servers brought my way. Some was great, and some were just a one-time mouth adventure — I’m talking about you, chicken hearts! Flirty servers and even more alluring samba dancers! They were so gorgeous and energetic, a definite highlight of the meal. My only critique is that the restaurant should suspend service to allow the dancers to do their thing without having to shimmy around meat skewer-carrying servers. The show only lasts a few minutes — surely the carnivores can wait a few minutes before the next protein mound is heaped on their plates.

I had an OK first experience at Gauchos Village. Having been to Fogo, Libra, and several other big name churrascarias, my resume is pretty strong. Gauchos, unfortunately, was probably the worst out of all of them. Nonetheless, I still had an enjoyable experience(how can you not have a great time eating unlimited meat?). Let’s start off with the selection: meh. Yes I have to acknowledge that we came for the lunch menu so the selection would be less than the full spread, but it was pretty unimpressive. It was basically a rotation of chicken, sausage, garlic beef, and top sirloin. We had to ask for the picanha specifically from the staff, and they only gave us enough for about ¼th of our party. Talk about holding back! In addition, we received very little attention – drinks constantly empty and plates constantly wiped clean. There was barely anyone in the restaurant so I was surprised when I had to stare blankly at my plate and cup. Even stranger was that we were clearly a party with some serious buying power(corporate reservation). Literally free money waiting to be taken from us. My final complaint is that the reservation process is a complete joke. You have to sign a contract and provide credit card information if you have a large party. THEREWASNOBODYATTHERESTAURANTWHATAREYOUWORRIEDABOUT?! I’ll stick to bringing my colleagues to other restaurants in the future. Overall, enjoyed myself purely because Brazilian BBQ is a high floor style of eating, but the ceiling was only inches from the floor(metaphor, not actually). Will not be coming back.

Food: amazing taste, great quality — MUCH better than fogo de chao. 15 or so different meat items — lamb + bacon wrapped filet mingon + chicken gizzards are amazing. Also amazing is the Picanha sirloin. Off the hook. A bit pricey but you’re getting your money’s worth in quality and choices. Service: really cater to you. I ask for medium rare and I get medium rare. I ask for a specific meat, it comes out. Drinks: 50% off ALL drinks including bottles of wine. Only bad part is that it’s at the bar area only but so what. 3.50 for a beer? Bottles of wine for $ 15? You’ve sold me. Overall 5 star because of service, food, ambience and price.

Having never experienced a Brazilian steakhouse I was truly excited to be invited to a tasting dinner at Gauchos Village’s new location in Glendale. Gaucho’s Village is a friendly restaurant perfect for groups that serves all you can eat meat at an almost punishing rate! Be sure to come with an appetite. After being seated by the host, make your way to the AYCE buffet that hosts a range of salads, rice, breads and stews that will compliment the plethora of meats that await you once you return to your seat. While everything at the buffet is delicious don’t load up on the cheesy bread! Once you return to your seats, the waiters will bring by skewers of meat to slice in front of you. My favorites were the tri-tip, the filet mignon wrapped in bacon and the spicy Brazilian sausages. You can indicate to your servers when you are full by flipping over a small wooden block by your plate. If you’re still hungry, leave the green side up. If you’re full, leave the red side up. If you’re a beer lover, I highly recommend that you sample some of their hard-to-get Brazilian beers like Skol or Brahma. Both are light and pair perfectly with the meatspolsion that you are currently enjoying! Thank you Gauchos Village for a wonderful Brazilian steakhouse experience. I“ll come back next year once I finish digesting all of the wonderful food!
