Endocrinology, Diabetes & Thyroid Center of Arizona

I needed a new thyroid doctor that was closer to my home and this one opened up just down the street. I have Hashimoto’s disease due to radiation therapy I received when I was going through cancer treatment for Hodgkin’s.
I read other online reviews and they were not that good but I decided to give it a try anyways to make my own decision. I wish I would have listed to what other people said in the beginning to avoid the long road I have been down with my thyroid. Now, I am looking for a new doctor.
If you have a thyroid issue, this is not the place to go. The doctor is not that friendly or knowledgeable about thyroid disorders. She doesn’t listen or care about your health, just wants you in and out. Every issue that I had, she would tell me that’s not due to my thyroid and would lower my medicine, which caused more issues. Then, I would have to go back because other thyroid doctors are booked out months in advance which would force me back just so she could raise my medicine back to where it was in the first place. Every time that she was checked my thyroid, she says its fine even though I am having trouble swallowing. I had her refill my medicine and made an appointment with another doctor six months out.
Please don’t waste your time going here. Spend your co-​pay and insurance money elsewhere.
