Big 5 Sporting Goods

Salesperson is unknowledgeable about their own merchandise. I was quoted something over the phone then when I arrived the salesman says he didn’t quote the price. His treated me like I was lying.
I will NOT return to this highly unprofessional store.

Very bad customer service people working there seem to have issues with each other. Girl at the register mocking co worker in front of customers so unprofessional. Some other guy seemed frustrated when people asked him for questions and communication between them very unprofessional. Very messy definitely will not be going back

They have the worst customer service, everytime you ask them about fishing stuff they pretend they know something but they suggest you some stupid stuff, at least they should be honest and say they dont know other than suggesting wrong stuff.

They have a lot of cool stuff that might be a challenge to find elsewhere. Today we bought a 6 ½’ sun umbrella that you can stick in the grass (or sand); perfect for sitting out in the hot sun while waiting for the 4^th of July fireworks to kick off later in the evening.

This is a store I visit at least a few times a year for sales and stuff I may need before my camping trips.
Staff is attentive but on occasion you get that one member that to them it’s just a paycheck, they leave the work to someone else, I understand, can’t expect a cashier to know it all and if such and such is in stock.
Parking is extremely limited, no more then 10 spaces and two handicap spaces. So if the lot is full you can find parking on a side street or take your chance next door and sit n sleep.

I went in to do an exchange and all the employees helped me even the manager was really pleasant. To be honest most sporting goods store employees are not helpful at all. There was an associate who even helped me out to the car with the ez-​up, I didn’t even ask! I will continue to go to this store! (They were very helpful with getting my son’s shoes a while back as well) love it here.

I just look at this place and laugh. The employees can’t work a cash register. «Alfonso» thinks he’s cool because he’s the manager of a complete garbage store. I just wanted to purchase a simple bike rack and I had to wait 15 minutes while listening to them having a conversation about abusive relationships. Only they would find such an off topic conversation. Alfonso always stares me down once I walk in like I am a murderer. I also once had a question about a product, and I just got ignored by every employee there. I again asked Alfonso and he rudely said and I quote «DO YOU HAVE PATIENTS I AM HELPING ANOTHER CUSTOMER». I just stood there in shock. If I were to say something I would have gotten dragged away by the police. He should be fired by now but they look short on employees. This place is useless to anyone looking forward to buying anything. This is such a waste of matter. I would never in my life go and waste a second in this store. Goddamn Alfonso you are my least favorite person ever.

This store is the D league of all retail stores. Lazy and disintrested in anything customer service. Whether on the phone or in person they are sure to not be very helpful.
