Nothing is fresh and taste like everything is from a microwave.

Had to review only because the guy with the 1 star was confusing to me. Just had breakfast. I saw nothing that would have cost me $ 10. Had an absolutely delicious breakfast burrito(with bacon that was actually well done and not soggy pieces of raw fat, so thankful!) for $ 5.95 or $ 6.50 with tax. Worth every penny. Big and filling so would get that again in a heartbeat. They have some other great deals: Breakfast Special for $ 3.45 which is sausage, egg and cheese on an English muffin. 2 eggs with ham, bacon or sausage served with toast for $ 4.95. A 3 egg omelet with choice of 3 toppings for $ 6.45. And based on my burrito alone I’d be more than tempted to try any one of their options. I’ll give them a try for lunch at some point, too. Sandwiches range from $ 6.95 to $ 7.25. There’s a Garden Burger with fries that comes with avocado, tomato and onions for $ 8.45. These all seem like very reasonable prices to me, in fact, I’d call them cheap compared to other spots. I could go across the street to Panera and spend twice as much on half a sandwich and a small cup of soup. I was there early so the one woman who was working had a lot to do, setting things up etc. No delay in getting my food and she was very friendly. The other reviewer asked who carries cash in 2015. I do, along with other folks who are money wise.

I went down to this place to get coffee one early morning. The lady manager was really nice and I liked that she offered napkins and extra stuff in my coffee. The place was clean and nicely decorated. I caught her giving instructions to her assistants in the back kitchen in a very polite way. Coffee was great. Nothing special, standard price.

Food is fine, service is slow, but the reason for the 1 star is there’s a $ 10 credit card minimum… WHOSPENDS $ 10FORBREAKFASTORLUNCH? Usually the woman behind the counter is very sweet, SUPERSWEET! … but she’ll put you on BLAST for trying to use a credit card. Seriously, you won’t see it coming, you’re relaxing, making small talk, watching«The View» on their TV… Oh, Rosie Perez is on the show now. How about that? … All of a sudden a sweet lady is YELLING at you for trying to pay her for food. IT’S 2015? WHOCARRIESCASH?! So… if you want mediocre food, that comes out EVENTUALLY, with a side of screaming sweet lady. This is the place for you. As for me, I’ll see ya at Panera.

This is my most favorite lunch place. I like it because it is not too fancy(you dont want to have fancy lunch everyday) and the food is simple yet amazing always. My favorite is the grilled veggie sandwich which is permanent on the menu. I love their specials too. The owner is very friendly and sweet. Just today I asked if I can have their weekly special fajitas made without meat(since I am a vegeterian) and she happily did that for me and replaced the meat with zuccinni. The fajitas were delicious.

This place is a hidden gem! Just had lunch here with my friend that suggested the place… it was great! I had the chicken gyro lunch special, which was very delicious. The salad on the side was just as good, very good dressing! The worker(maybe owner) there was beyond friendly and service was quick! I will definitely be returning !

This place is a cute little restaurant located in the bottom of the Hollywood Production Center Building. When I first walked in, I was really surprised with how quaint it was. I felt like I was eating in someone’s house! I ended up ordering the portobella mushroom sandwich with fries. It was pretty good, but I feel like they could have put more mushroom in the sandwich. My coworkers got the chicken shawarma plate, and the portion was fairly large. I’ll definitely be coming back here for lunch!

I always feel like I have found a hidden gem when I eat lunch here. You have to go all the way down to the basement(thus, the name)… But so worth the effort. The food always tastes fresh and the owner is so sweet. The falafel is great and the soups taste homemade. I also love their hummus. Probably my only negative is that the tabouli often seems undercooked. One of my favorite lunch spots!

Cute little café in the basement of the hollywood production center. I’ve been here over a dozen times since I work a block away, and each time I eat there I leave with a happy belly. Their attention to quality and service is amazing, and the food just tastes better each time I go there. They have amazing shawarma and kabob wraps and plates. In addition, their salad dressing is off the hook. Yeah, pretty much wanted to ask the lady if I could have the recipe. Try it, and trust me you won’t be disappointed.

I just started a new job in Glendale so I am not too familiar with the food that is around my office. Everyday during my lunch break I like to go wander around and scope out the area. I always passed a sign for this place and wanted to check it out. Well as luck would have it one day I forgot my lunch at home, so I had to go out for lunch. I decided to come check this place out. Right away what I liked about this was that it was tucked away and was almost an adventure to find it. There is something special to me about a harder to find place then one that is simply in plain sight. After successfully finding it I was very excited to start eating when I saw this place. It was kitschy and warm. It felt like I had stepped into someones old kitchen and they were going to make me a meal. I wasn’t too far off in that assumption. I went with the chicken gyro wrap with a side of fries. The price for this pleased me greatly because I feel like most of the other lunch places charge an arm and a leg, but this was right up my price alley based off what I make. About $ 10 for all that and a drink, not bad. The food came out and I was so happy when it did. I was transported back to when I studied abroad. My junior year I spent 4 months in Barcelona. Barcelona’s answer to our Mexican food was their kebab/gyros. I would go and find some hole in the wall kebab place and just melt into a delicious gyro. Since coming back to the states I have not found one as good, until now. The gyro here was juicy, flavorful, and left me wanting more. I felt like I was somewhere else between the food and the décor. The service here was also very friendly, which surprised me. I’m used to more gruff store owners in Glendale, especially the mom and pop places. Here though I was greeted with a smile and the food came out in great time. I also appreciate that they will customize your order. The guy behind me ordered a wrap but put humus and french fires in it. I know that I need to keep checking out the food around me, but this makes a tough case for being my go to spot. 7⁄100

Walking up and down Brand Blvd, I never noticed this place until I went with coworkers to grab some lunch to go. I wasn’t too hungry versus my coworkers, so I opted for a chicken gyro. I do say, it was pretty damn good! The chicken was moist, and the seasoning was just right. It came with a pickle and some peppers for some kick, which were huge peppers. My coworkers opted for a schwarma plate and oh my, what a huge portion! It was more a dinner portion than a lunch portion. Tiny spot but got there where it was rather empty, so we could have eaten there. Next time, I will definitely be back and try one of their schwarma plates myself!

Nice people, but they tend to be a little on the slow side Food tasted great, with decent sized portions for the size. They need to have slightly bigger tables though. Selection is good

You would never think that such a beautiful, cozy place exists in the basement of a building. Located in the basement level of the Hollywood Production Center this family owned café offers home made soups which are the best soups I’ve had since my grandmother passed. Lentil soup and mushroom barley are my favorites. They have kebob plates which comes with 5 pcs of chicken or beef over rice, with salad and home made hummus and pita bread. For the price, amount and quality of food I would have to say well worth it. $ 8.95 for a complete kebob lunch can’t beat it in that area. Philly cheesesteak OMG!!! Orgasm in your mouth. They use the same steak as they do for kebobs, grilled onions, mushrooms, bell peppers, spicy Dijon mustard mayo and melty Swiss American cheese on a toasted Italian roll. Ohh and don’t forget to get the seasoned fries. Mmmmmmmm Service is extremely friendly and courteous. Mother and son run this place always with smiles on their face and really polite. They make you feel welcome to their place and feels like you’re having lunch at home with the family. I’m so glad I found this place so close to work Must try!
