Ordered some type of food, gave them directions and got completely a different thing. For a second I thought it was someone else’s order.

Very clean, excellent service and food is good. Here’s the problem: somewhat surprisingly, our little north suburban area has its share of very good kebab houses, such as Pita Inn and others. Thus, expectations are high not just for taste, but value as well. Adams kebab is very very good, but about 30% more expensive than other kebab houses for similar dishes. It’s just not warranted for a quick take out kind of place. The prices are more in line with a very nice sitdown restaurant, like a Reza’s in Chicago. As an example, their Adam’s platter is $ 14.99, whereas a similar platter at Pita Inn(that also has steak, which Adams does not) costs $ 9.99. So the question becomes, is it worth five dollars more? The quality is better, to be sure, but is it worth it? Only you can decide, but for me it’s a little much. Whether you happen to like their hummus over another place will all come down to a matter of preference, for me I wasn’t that much of a fan, but others may love it. I’d say it’s definitely worth checking out but temper your expectations and bring your wallet.

Heard good things about his place. Came alone to get a lamb chop kabab plate and the skinny guy at the counter charged me $ 15. Menu says $ 9.99. I really hope it’s not because I’m an odar.

If you ever heard about«Beefstraganoff» and want to try you should go there, the best ever. I ordered it to go for five people for dinner and we were just amazed how delicious it was.

Delicious Hummos. But there aren’t any tables inside. Its a really weird place but they sure do know how to make a kabob. I would recommend checking it out. Go on an adventure. Be spontaneous. Pretend you’re in a foreign land. Get out of your comfort zone. Do something different. You’ll have something to talk about for sure…

Nice little cozy spot in the heart of Glendale! Had a chance to catch lunch with one of my chef friends and he choose this place because he has been here before… Small place but super clean! They offer the typical mediterranean fare… so if you are craving any of the kabobs, salads, sides, they’ve got them all here! Chef friend had the salad and fish, looked really good! Had the combination of chicken lule and beef with a side of Babaganoush Lule was delicious as always, the beef is a bit on the dry side but nicely flavored!(The cut they chose is the one with the less fat therefore is more dry… but definitely good quality) Babaganoush was super yummy! I love eggplants and simply enjoyed my babganoush quite a bit! Service was outstanding… she came by often just to check up and was very friendly! There may be a con but it’s similar across Glendale… Street parking! They are located on a corner therefore you have to seek out street parking… be sure to look up the signs and find yourself a good parking space!

Adams Kabob is my go-to local staple. My favorites are steak kabob(medium rare on request) with tzatziki side sauce, Vinaigrette salad-made of chopped beets, potatoes, kidney beans, cucumber. They have great hummus and a creamy walnut beet dip, and on top of it all, they make excellent fries seasoned with dill.

I’m from San Francisco. I called in a day early and the owner agreed to open an hour early for us!!! I’m riding away now in a car so I’ll make it short. The table was already set for us and the food was excellent. I will be back when I’m in town.

Been to Adam’s several more times since the last time I updated my review. I noticed that the chubby lady server(who was sweet) and speaks good English is gone. She was never there in the last how many times we went there to eat. There was an older server after her, who was so nice & sweet, but a pain to talk to(can’t speak/understand English). There were 2 separate occasions when she had our orders wrong. The owner compensated in one occasion by giving us the wrong order for free, and still giving us the entrée we wanted. 2 days ago we were there and there’s another server who’s probably in her 40’s-50’s. This new lady is not only hard of English, and her attitude did not compensate for this. We had guests who just moved to Glendale, and we brought them here in the hope that they would love Adam’s, be regular customers like us, and keep this small restaurant going. We take everyone we know to Adam’s. The last time we visited made us think twice if we should keep on doing this and here’s the reasons: 1. The availablity of entrees are hit or miss. Imagine going here for the lula kabobs, drving all the way from a far away place only to find out that at 4pm, the lula kabobs are not available? Or the seafood platter not available at 3pm? or 7pm? 2. There’s no coke, no sprite, pepsi nor 7up. They only have Armanian bottled water, Armanian flavored drinks and house water. 3. The shorter cook is good. He was there in the evening of Nov 29th, but the one who cooked for us is the taller guy and he makes BLAND food. uuuggh! You need to have consistency in the way you cook your food. It can’t be good today and bland 3 days from now. 4. Breads are served at soon as you order, which makes them cold by the time the entrée are served. I asked the waitress to serve them with the entrée so as not to get cold, but somehow, she still managed to serve us cold bread. And ugggh, Adam’s is back to their thin ugly tasting bread AGAINWTF!!! 5. You need to teach everyone in your restaurant to learn how to greet customers and smile. When we went in, the waitress just looked towards our direction, and so did the cook. I smiled, but in return, we got stared down like we were from another planet. COMEON! THISIS A RESTAURANT! LEARNTOBEPLEASANT! 6. HIREENGLISH-SPEAKINGSERVERS! My goodness! It was frustrating to talk to non-english speaking waitresses in the past, but at least they were sweet and accommodating. The one we had on Nov 29th was not only English illiterate, she also had an attitude! 7. DONOTALLOWCUSTOMERSTOSMOKEINSIDETHERESTAURANT! THERE’S OUTDOORSITTINGWITHTABLES, THAT’S WHERETHEYBELONG! I’ve always thought that the parking situation is the reason why Adam’s is never half full at every chance we dine in here. I think I know better now. It’s because of the INCONSISTENCY in service and in the taste of the food. I have been a regular customer for at least 3-.5 — 4 years now. I think I can write a fair review for Adam’s. Adam’s, you need to listen to your customers if you want to stay in business. Also, if you want to expand your business, you need to start by hiring English speaking servers. But, for today, please get rid of your think bread and bring back the thick ones. Don’t be too cheap.

ummmm three words: second hand smoke not really sure what was going on but I ordered online using the eat24 app and walked in about 10 minutes later to see if my order was ready. right walked in I smelt smoke, smoke like from cigarettes. I look over and there’s a cook sitting in the dining room SMOKING!!! where they do that at!?! I’m a stickler on people even smoking near the entrance of a business, let alone a restaurant and INSIDE!?! what? since I had already prepaid, I proceeded to ask for my order. spoke to a man who was standing at the counter and he looked at me crazy. a woman appeared out of no where and asked me what I needed. I told her that I had placed an order online and she said«oh, we just got it. it will be 15 – 20 minutes.» I left and got back into my car where my husband and baby were waiting. I told my husband what was going on inside and he decided to drop us off and come back for the food. he came home with the food and said that no one was smoking when he went back. he also said that everyone was nice but it did smell like cigarette smoke. I would have given them one star for smoking but real talk the food was pretty good! hahaha. probably won’t return over principle but gotta give props where props are deserved. two stars it is!

Wow, I don’t even know where to begin. First of all, for all the reviewers out there that gave this place 4 – 5 stars, you must’ve either gone to another place or went during the day because this place turns into a front for the Armenian Mafia at night not to mention we’ve never felt so uncomfortable and unwanted in such a long time(My girlfriend and I are Hispanic and white). We walk in and the guy at the counter looks at us like were seriously in the wrong neighborhood and takes our order. We tell him we want the beef and chicken plate and wanted to eat in. We walk over to our table and sit down and across from us 5 guys are sitting at their table. A few minutes go by and a lady joins them and looks over to us speaking Armenian. Another moment goes by and they all start lighting up their cigarettes! No joke! Inside the restaurant they start puffing away and anyone’s whose been in their knows there is no air circulation. It finally dawns on someone to turn a fan on and open the door. Meanwhile my pregnant girlfriend and 6 year old daughter walks out back to car and wants to go, I tell I’ll ask for the food to go while she sits in the car because normally, we would’ve just left but all the reviews on here said the food was a must try, 5 star worthy so I stayed and asked for the food to go. I get the food, run to the car, drive home and start eating. OMFG. You 5 star guys are either all friends with the owner or your taste buds are missing from your tongue. The food had no flavor whatsoever, the rice bland as well as the hummus. Either that or they purposely left out the seasoning on the meat for some insane reason. I normally don’t leave reviews. If the food is bad somewhere, I let them hang themselves with either their bad food or crappy service BUT I genuinely felt I had to say something because not only did the food lack any flavor and the 5 star givers are all liars but the treatment and service was horrendous. We either walked in on a Mafia meeting or the cooks went out of their way to make the food crappy. Either way, were never showing our faces there again, it really sucked. Be warned if your not Armenian…

Great place. Little in size but big in quality. They have take out and take orders over the phone to save you the wait time. Servings are generous and price reasonable. One Beef Kabob plate feeds me for 2 days. Highly recommend.

Consistently delicious food! You can taste the quality and passion in their food. We have ordered various items from their menu but the beef lule is outstanding! I’d never had it before and since having it at Adams I’ve ordered it at other restaurants and they don’t compare to Adams lule! We usually order delivery and their portions are SO generous! I order my plate with 1 side of hummus and 1 side if the cucumber yogurt sauce and the yogurt sauce is my favorite! It’s so fresh. Their rice is always fluffy and flavorful. The service is nice too. Whenever we order over the phone they are pleasant and polite. The delivery guy is really nice too.

I ordered here because it was recommended by a coworker, and I must say there getting 4 stars regardless the situation. I ordered lamb, they had none. I then asked for beef, and after I got my order about an hour and 40 mins later, I ended up with pork. Now I would be upset about if it hadn’t been so fantastically good, and I’m not even kidding, it came with yogurt with cucumber in it and hummus. One of the best meals I have ever had, the pork soft and very seasoned, rice cooked to perfection. Hummus and yogurt fantastic, I was at a loss for words…

Went back here last night(11÷7÷12) with my wife. I had a certificate that makes this place a great deal. Don’t expect friendly customer service. However, I have to say, I was really pleasantly surprised by the food. We had the lamb chops, chicken breast and beef shish kabob. They served it all on one big plate with rice. The meat was grilled perfectly. Succulent, juicy and flavorful. We both loved the meat, and the rice. Their hummus has always been wonderful as well. Creamy and not lemony at all. I will definitely be coming back. The only reason I don’t give the place 5-stars is its lifeless atmosphere. It’s pretty dead inside there. Hardly any customers and there’s something weird about the spacing. lol
