My boyfriend and I bought 2 slices and pepperoni bites from here and it was just horrible. The pizza was so hard and dry from being out so long and the pepperoni bites were flavorless, chewy, and dry. I don’t recommend this place and we most likely will not come back here.

I ordered from Aces for 1st time a few days ago. Polite employees. Food was alright but nothing to rave about. Would recommend for a quick dinner when you don’t feel like cooking. I ordered the tortellini with prosciutto and a cannoli. I added some basil, pepper flakes, parm cheese for«zing» but overall not bad. FYI — If you call for delivery and live on the outskirts of their delivery zone(I called from Bushwick) the wait is about an hour. They wait for more deliveries in your area before they make the food(fresh) and then group the deliveries since there is one delivery person.

1st I want to start off by saying I created an account just to leave this review! My fiancé and I to own a small business in brooklyn, we absolutely love love pizza, only the neighborhood in which we have our business doesn’t have any good pizzerias. We live in bay ridge where almost 95% of the pizzerias have incredible pizza. So tonight while driving down myrtle we see aces pizzeria and my fiancé says let’s try it out he ask me if I’d like anything and I requested an order of garlic knots. He comes back to the car with 2 slices a Coca-Cola and order of garlic knots. I go to eat a garlic knot and say to myself hmm this looks odd. I eat it anyway. It taste nothing like a garlic knot but instead like a Pillsbury Doughboy biscuit; I complain but I’m starving so I eat one out of the 6 anyway it was so dry and just WACK so I take a bite of the slice smh it was terrible the cheese was horrible the sauce was just as bad. So I open my coke to wash it down and it was FLAT. To end the night so wonderfully I am writing this review from my bathroom floor where I have been vomiting since I got home. Stay far away from ACES pizzeria and if your looking for a good old brooklyn slice I strongly suggest heading down for date night in bayridge !! I hate that I even have to rate this place with 1 star they deserve –0

I was truly excited for my first experience with Ace after reading many reviews. It did not live up to the hype. Calling for delivery was hard enough. I’ve always wanted to learn Spanish and I think it’s about Time but I must have said 1D as in dog 20 time. The order still went to 1B. I tried ordering a chicken parm hero with vodka sauce(Try it if your local pizzeria will let you) and was refused. They did tell me I can get a penne alla vodka meal, add chicken and it would come with bread though. Not sure what all the fuss was. The food arrived after almost an hour, assuming because of the apartment mix up, and the food was meh. The hero had one thin piece of chicken cutlet on it, the small penne alla vodka I order was just ok. The Italian food in Staten Island is the only thing i miss from my time there at this point. Ridgewood is lacking in the Italian food department.

If they don’t deliver to me cause it’s too far for them then why put fliers in my mailbox for delivery?!

One of the worst pizza experiences that I have ever had. Ordered the Sicilian pizza, but instead got the thickest cheese pizza I’ve seen. It was just layer and layer of stale dough and mediocre cheese. The buffalo wings were pretty old as well.

saw them advertising on my door step with flyers and menus one day so I tried them Went here one night on my way home with some people The pizza was good and the garlic knots where actually flavorful unlike some spots around here that give them to you and they are rubber. The prices are cheap for 3 specialty slices 3 sodas and garlic knots it cost us 9 $ total. The place was clean and the people actually spoke english and understood what you wanted.

I’ve been ordering from Ace for years. This is hands down the best pizza place in Ridgewood. I’m a picky pizza eater. Born and raised in NY made me one! However, Aces always pleased my taste buds. Their regular pizza is AMAZING with a hint of garlic with a great balance of cheese and sauce. Try their vegetarian pizza special and jammed pack with veggies and one slice will stuff you for the whole night. I highly recommend the chicken wings(however I am now a vegetarian and now miss them). Ordering from this place is fast.

I’ve been ordering and eating at ACE ever since it opened up. I work a couple of blocks away and would find myself ordering at least once a week. I got a couple of friends hooked on ACE too and now they’d call me at 10:30pm and rush there before they close :) Before I get elaborate, I have to say that ACE has a HUGE advantage that most pizzerias in Ridgewood/Glendale lack. TASTE! yessir! As someone who loves cooking with detail, I can tell that the owner and the people who work for him really put the effort into combining fresh products with attention to detail and coming up with food that doesn’t taste generic. I was initially hooked on the buffalo chicken pizza… if you haven’t done so — try it. I then sort of, wen’t on a random ramble through the menu and have since tried a lots of different combinations but the ones that stand out are: 1) CHICKENFRANCESE — get it, over spaghetti and I guarantee a foodgasm! Everything is cooked fresh and the sauce mixed in just hits the spot! 2) Chicken Parm Hero + FF — I dont know what it is about their fries, but when I get the ChPr hero, I stuff it with them, pour a bit of ketchup on top and 10 mins later there’s a smile on my face 3) Cannoli — homemade and if you’re lucky they‘ll have the chocolate ones… a bit pricey but worthhhhhh it! 4) Individual Pizza — If you’re in the mood for a pizza right out of the oven but don’t feel like buying a large pie, they offer all of their pies in a smaller version for a decent price. Pizza comes fresh, hot and delicious :) I Love Ace!!!

One great thing about this pizza place is that they have personal sized pizzas. They even make pizza without cheese for my lactose intolerant spouse. We’ve been going here for over 3 years and never had a problem with their service or our food being wrong despite asking for pizzas with half no cheese & different toppings on each side. You can actually get delivery with people who understand what you’re saying, a rarity in this neighborhood. That’s probably one reason why we go here so much.

Pizza is very good yet what surprised us is that their Italian dishes rival Italian restaurants in the area. Unlike pizzerias in the area such as Coratos, Rosa’s and such, they have a menu full of dishes worth every penny. Their seafood dishes are sooo good especially the Seafood Fra Diablo over Linguini and Shrimp with Broccoli. Prices are competetive and worth every penny.
