The best Mexican we’ve ever had. Fresh and tasty. Need to bring it south to Massachusetts, specifically Hopkinton! Will definitely be back again.

Say it ain’t so. My family and I are former fans of the Margarita Grill. For years, it was our go to restaurant when we were in the valley. This is the second bad meal from the grill in 2 months. The first time I thought it was a bad night in the kitchen but the second time it was even worse. My dinner was the sirloin steak tip taco special for $ 18. A lot of money for 2 average sized tacos. Although I ordered the tips medium rare, they were overcooked and cold. Also the amount of tips in the tacos was extremely small. My daughter ordered the pulled brisket sandwich with a side of fries. The brisket was dry and cold and the fries were soggy and cold. My other daughter ordered the vegetable burrito. They sent out the wrong order and it was returned to the kitchen. The second attempt was a watery burrito that came out at the end of our meal. It was inedible and should have been comped. WHAT’S GOINGONMARGARITA! Wasted $ 100 dollars. 2 strikes and you’re out.

i won’t say this i had the worst meal of my life, but i did have the worst meal of north conway, and i have been coming to the area regularly for the past 10 years. maybe i was there on a night where everyone in the kitchen walked out? i ordered a salad. yup, how can one not like a salad? well, it was whole pieces of romaine, not chopped, just full pieces tossed in a tortilla bowl. Grape tomatoes, same thing, just thrown in whole. when i picked up the salad(which you can do when it is whole leafs of romaine) i saw maybe a few tablespoons of rice and beans at the bottom. if the lettuce hadn’t been in a taco bowl, i might have been able to salvage it? but for $ 16, can’t i expect that they will do more than hand me the ingredients? i couldn’t eat it. i would have complained, but the server never came back(it was busy, but not THAT busy). my significant other ordered the taco special, at $ 18 a plate. i didn’t try them, because it was about 5 bites worth. he said that the beef was tough, the shells were soggy and the toppings were non existent. if i had know the quality of the food i would have searched for a chilis or a 99. wow, i have never sought a chain restaurant before!

OK food and good margaritas but really think it’s gone down hill since the new owners took over. You can tell the quality isn’t there anymore.

Saw this place on Mt Washington Valley TV. The owner was talking about a fundraiser coming up. So we dropped by to check the place out. It was a Monday night a 4ish and the place was just opening. My wife notice the gentleman from the tv shop sitting at the bar. So we sat down and proceeded to have a fantastic meal. The bar keep was excellant. I had chicken breast and steak tenderloin for Joyce. Joyce also had both seasonal drinks. We both raved about our experience. Wish we were around for the Tuesday fundraiser. We definitely will be back for another great meal.

A favorite restaurant for us in the Mt. Washington Valley. We always enjoy fabulous food and drinks, and the homemade desserts are the best! Welcoming and comfortable atmosphere, and waitress(and baker) Ginny was exceptional. Starting with their salsa and chips, to chicken fajitas and variety of enchiladas, to their homemade chocolate cupcake and carrot cake — oh yes, and the delicious margarita and good wine/beer selection — all was the best! This is our«go to» restaurant when family and friends come to town.

The food here was amazing. Everything is so fresh and the portions fill you up. The only thing that prevented me from a 5 star review was the fact that service was a little slow. I didn’t rate them any less for that because there was only 2 servers on staff today. Farm to table was evident in everything brought out.

Very disappointed. Tasteless food and bitter cocktails. We ordered mojito and ultimate margarita and both of them were tasteless and bitter. We came to this place two years back and loved it. I guess something changed here since then.

We enter asking for a table for 8, the hostess seats my part into a little chubby corner that should only fit 6 comfortably, okay so their busy that’s fine. Then our waitress keeps trying to leave the table in between orders, we have 8 ma’am not 3 please stick with us! So we’ve just gone for a hike and missed lunch(it’s 3pm) we starving, our appetizer comes and then dinner comes shortly after but there’s no real taste to the food! We get back to our camp(were out or staters who stay locally in the summer) and mother is puking all night… Not going back.

My husband and I just finished a 4 hr hike and decided to come here for a late lunch. The place was busy but we got seated right away. We ordered the North Of The Border Nachos for our app, I got a sangria. For lunch I got the chicken Poblano enchiladas. Yummy!!! Service was great and food was awesome!

We come here every year on our family vacation. I wish we lived closer! The food is delicious, the atmosphere is very comfortable and relaxing, the prices are decent and the drinks are fantastic! We can’t wait to come back this year and many, many more!

I had high hopes for this restaurant. I love the concept of farm to table and Mexican so I figured win win. Unfortunately, I was underwhelmed by the food. We got the guacamole for an appetizer and it left much to be desired. Ordered a burrito for dinner and that too was bland. I must say that the margaritas are amazing and not to be missed. This is a great spot for drinks but skip dinner. Another plus was our server– Kevin was great!

How anyone can complain about this place is beyond me. Everything from the nachos to guacamole to margaritas to enchiladas to service from Wonderful Ginny! Even the kids menu rocked. My son is 2 and loved the local milk, farm raised chicken tenders and farm fresh blueberries and cherry tomatoes. Again the guac and margaritas were a GODSEND lol Amazing place to eat and drink.

My fiancé and I were in the area for a long weekend and I really wanted tacos and loved the concept of farm-to-table so we went to this place, unfortunately, it wasn’t nearly as good as other said… It’s a shame because I really wanted to like this place. Here are the reasons I didn’t like it: 1. We ordered two ultimate margaritas and the ice had tiny black pieces of something in them. We removed all the pieces of ice with trash and showed them to the waitress, who refused to believe the pieces were there. In her defense, she was very polite, but did not apologize and said«if there is anything in them, it’s probably waste from fruit, like strawberries, because they make all kinds of margaritas there.» They offered to make us another set of margaritas, but really, after I hear you don’t wash your dishes well and I get dirty ice… I don’t really want to have another drink. We let it be… I figured the tequila would sterilize the dirt… right? 2. I was craving tacos, but I had never seen such a sad ‘variety’ of tacos at a restaurant. The tacos plates have ONE taco and are waaaaay too expensive. Really? Who eats only one taco as a meal? My 7 y/o cousin can eat three, no problem… 3. We ordered guacamole as it was recommended by many on here, it was nothing special. Actually, it sucked. It lacked salt and had way too much lime juice. 4. My fiancé and I, both, ordered the Mexican Combo Platter. The brisket taco was very bland. Taco Bell is gourmet compared to it! The bean enchilada was good, I mean, it was a tortilla and beans, how can you screw that up? The chicken burrito was very good though. The corn bread was okay. Honestly, I wouldn’t consider this a Mexican restaurant. It’s terrible. Also, not only we didn’t get an apology for dirty ice in our margaritas, but they didn’t discount anything on our bill. Definitely not going back to this place!

I’ve been to Margarita Grill a couple times now, as its location is very conveniently located outside of Glen Ellis Campground, where I vacation every summer with friends. The food is a little highly priced but it’s delicious and the servings are huge. The drinks are always strong and our waiter was very friendly and attentive. It’s not my go-to in the North Conway area, but it’s definitely delicious!

Loved this place. The host and wait staff were helpful and friendly. My blackened scallop tacos with honey habanero sauce were cooked to perfection. The smoked turkey quesadilla was excellent too. Everything was so good we went back a couple of days later and weren’t disappointed.

Had a very good meal this past Friday night upon our arrival in Bartlett for our yearly family vacation with kids and grandkids. Carrie the bartender makes a great marguerita and is nice to talk with about the area. My wife and I had the pulled pork sandwiches. Excellent, served with fried onion rings and fries. Have eaten here many times before. Food good but not excellent. This time it was excellent.

It’s been a few years and given some of the recent reviews I feel the need to post an update. On a recent trip to the area we saw some of the recent negative reviews and were a little leery about visiting. Could this place have fallen so far since our last visit in October? After going for a meal, please let me assure you that it has not. This was probably my best meal during our week-long trip to the area. The margaritas here are awesome. That’s all there is too it, and I am fairly picky about my margaritas. Get the special margarita. They usually knock it out of the park on that one. Chips and salsa are no longer free. We normally order the guacamole though, and they come with the guacamole. Get the guacamole. It’s freshly made and delicious. On a recent visit I ordered the blackened chicken tacos. They were overflowing with filling and were fantastic. They were served with cornbread and rice. My husband had the salmon fajitas, which are one of his favorite things on the menu. Yes, prices are higher, but you get what you pay for. This is a farm to table restaurant serving local, organic ingredients. You are supporting the local farmers and that is never a bad thing. If you are craving a margarita and some good Southwestern food while in the area, I highly recommend it.

We’ve been coming to the Margarita Grill for years and I think that the for the last few, they have definitely hit their stride with their creative offerings and quality ingredients and yesterday marked another very satisfying visit. Through the years, one thing has remained consistent: the diversity of quality tequila and margarita drinks. In fact, it was here, when the quality tequila industry started exploding a few years back, that I got to try many different types and brands, both in margaritas and neat. I still have several empty bottles of reposado and anejo in my collection that I purchased after having tried them here for the first time. Yesterday’s visit was another typically good visit and while I have migrated from mixed drinks to craft beer over the years, I have noticed that they always try to keep a good selection available, especially of local(Moat Mountain) or regional(Peak Organic) beers on tap. Our server, Lori B, was attentive and friendly. We had a large order of salsa and guacamole, the order that is supposed to be for more than two people, ready for us instantly, and she did not judge. One comment on the guacamole though: It is not tableside and, while good, could use less tomatoes and more salt in the blend. The salmon fajitas, as many have noted, are excellent. These came with a ton of peppers and onions, and a large portion of blackened salmon, along with all of the fixings. The quality of the fixings was also not lost on me — arugula instead of iceberg? Definite extra points there! Also, I had to take some home because the portions were so large. In past visits, the Blackened Fish Tacos have also been good, also as others have noted. We never have room for dessert, though I did see that they had carrot cake on the board. This was tempting but we were already packing food to go. I’m not sure what to make of some of the more negative reviews but as long as we have visits like this, we’ll continue to come back, easily.
