Dunkin’ Donuts

I just read a review that mentioned high employee turnover here. Perhaps the afternnon or eveng crews change frequently but in the morning they have been the same for a while and they rock. Troy is frigging awesome. Great kid with a huge smile and he makes one hell of a latte. Always remembers my order and asks how things are. Same with Massielle and the rest. They are fast, efficient and very, very friendly. The other DDs in the area are good, this one is truly exceptional.

The donuts themselves were very good. However, there is one particular item I’m writing about that they screwed up very badly on: a hot caramel latte. The cashier put it in the system correctly, but the employee making the actual order was either a half-​wit or a functioning retard. He made the coffee iced instead of hot, and put in so much milk and sugar that it wasn’t recognizable as coffee anymore. Funny thing was, the manager was standing nearby the entire time, and she was the one who said that the iced coffee was my order when it wasn’t.
Considering that it wasn’t busy, and the employees themselves usually perform well without the presence of the manager, it makes me wonder what she’s being hired to do here. Lower the quality of the coffee so that it tastes like crap? Or completely screw up the orders themselves?

They have a high employee turnover, so keep a sharp lookout on the preparation of your coffee. They also have Baskin Robbins ice cream but service is very akward.

I never thought I’d need to review a Dunkin Donuts, but this one asks for it. The staff always seems like they are doing you a favor when taking your order. They act very annoyed whenever you ask a question about what different type of items they have to offer (like it’s Dunkin Donuts and you should know all of their offerings unless you’re stupid). As for quality, I went there and picked up a hot chocolate and it tasted like water. Considering the prices they charge, everything should be good. A two rating is a benefit of the doubt, hoping that things may get better at some point.
