Staybridge Suites Wilmington – Brandywine Valley

We spent our wedding weekend at this hotel when we got married at Terrain, right across the street. The whole experience was outstanding. The sales manager, Amanda, was incredibly gracious and helpful with setting up our room block and helping along the way. We booked the conference suite as our meeting area for all the guests and had breakfast and lunch in there both days and gathered after the wedding as well– it was a great feature to have a common area to share. We also spent a lot of time in the lobby chatting with friends throughout the weekend. The free breakfast is very good and is also a nice feature.
We love that the hotel is pet friendly– there were a lot of dogs here and it was really special to be able to bring our basset hound with us! All of the rooms were very clean, spacious, and the beds very comfortable. The staff truly makes this place special though– every single person is so friendly and welcoming and I can’t recommend it enough!

Recently we experienced a fire and I have have been staying at this hotel for about 3 weeks now. I have seen the hotel function over a long period of time and believe to have seen it for what it is.

Management is doing something right here. The staff is friendly and courteous and they do not miss a beat.
Free breakfast is a HUGE plus but it’s not just the basics. They have a lot of options. They also offer a dinner on Monday-​Wednesday. Super convenient and the lobby area is beautiful. The staff will clear your plate from the table as you are finished.
The rooms are spacious and come with many amenities. You don’t have to worry about using the popcorn or coffee as there is no extra charge.
The only downfall is that the dish tv goes out on occasion.
Oh! And it’s pet friendly!

Wonderful! All you could ask for. Staff treats you like family. Very attractive and clean. Breakfast and light dinner with happy hour are included.

Super nice hotel – you get a massive room for a reasonable price. For my wedding across the street at Terrain, many of our guests stayed here, and so did my family. We got ready for the wedding in these rooms and had plenty of much-​needed space, and also a nice backdrop for some photos. There was also the biggest complimentary breakfast that I’ve seen at any hotel, which was great for our guests. The only thing I didn’t like was that the guy in charge of the desk was completely clueless on what to do when the fire alarm went off in the room because of the hairspray the stylists were using – he unplugged all of the alarms and left. Other than that, great place, definitely recommended.

This is a very nice hotel. Clean, large rooms. Very friendly staff. Big buffet for breakfast in the mornings with lots to choose from. Free WiFi was a nice touch too.

The room was clean, spacious and affordable. The employees were all very friendly. The workout room is your standard hotel work out room with an eliptical, treadmills, free weights and work out balls. The fitness room was clean and equipment looked fairly new.
They have complimentary breakfast. We stayed on a Friday night and went for breakfast downstairs at 10am. I shouldn’t complain because the breakfast is complimentary but it seemed like they weren’t bringing out fresh eggs and fruit quick enough and I wished they had more options for breakfast items.

Clean, comfortable, and affordable. Some of the nicest guys working the check in desk. The room is spacious and has everything you could possible need. Located near plenty of shopping and places to eat.

This spot has beautiful suites and lodgings. Its also very affordable. It provides full kitchen and free breakfast, pool, fitness, laundry etc. I loved my two night stay here.

Robert took excellent care of me and my family for our recent wedding, going the extra mile to drive us around in the hotel shuttle on our big day. We totally love that dude.
My room was really nice! It was a one-​bedroom suite with a king bed. It had lovely views and it was quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was included and delicious. Lots of different choices.
My only complaint was that in the weeks leading up to our wedding, when our guests were trying to make reservations, they got some conflicting and misleading information when trying to book rooms in our block. I believe this is because the local hotel managed the blocks, while a central office handles all other reservations.

Night 3 underway and we are still really enjoying this place. The Wednesday night BBQ was fantastic and the free beer and wine were greatly appreciated.
I must say the staff here is unbelievable. They bend over backwards to help the customer and get what we need. They even tolerate the talkative kid!
Will definitely stay next time we are in town.
