Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa

I originally loved this h&s for their massages, until I recently tried a facial. I was booked with their «lead» esthetician who I’ll call «S» and I was not impressed. Most facials I’ve had include some kind of neck/​shoulder massage but it was more just her fingers glazing over my skin. Also her fingers smelled like cigarettes (ewww!) so I knew she just smoked right before and even though I could tell it wasn’t strong (she made an attempt to wash her hands), it still smelled terrible every time her fingers would come near my nose. The facial routine itself was nothing special. It’s basically what I could do at home myself minus bright lights in my eyes and someone giving me a play by play of what they’re doing to me. I would go elsewhere for a facial but the massages here are still great.

After a long weekend at work I decided to get a massage and was very please with my therapist Gina… she was a people person, polite, very professional in her work and put alot of love in giving me a great massage which I was very please and happy as a customer… keep up the great work

They consistently deliver on service and experience. I have a membership and go for massages once a month. I’ve tried 4 different therapist and all of them have been fantastic. (Although my absolute favorite is Gina) The entire staff is kind and professional. Everyone smiles and says hello. They know their regular guests by name and preferences. And they are also always on time! Win win win.

Hand and stone has the massage formula for success down pat! This is the third location in two different states I have tried and they are consistent! It is perfect for a single or couples massage and it’s always clean and very relaxing! When they have special deals– stock up!

Highly recommend! The staff is always accommodating and friendly. I have a neck/​shoulder injury and have been getting regular massages for many years now. Margo is simply amazing. Very skilled in different techniques and I always look forward to going there!

Love Hand & Stone. I have a membership and I can choose whether I want a massage or a facial. Sometimes I skip a month and then get both at the same visit. Sometimes I upgrade to a hot stone massage. John B. is the best massage therapist there… and Saya is the best esthetician.

GRR! Some time back, my significant other and I had a membership at Hand & Stone in Glen Mills. We froze our membership and then cancelled it as the income situation in our household changed, but they charged us for one last month and said the last massages would always be there. I called today to schedule for that and they REFUSED to stand by what they had told me. I spoke to Jerry, the franchise owner, and he said he couldn’t do anything about it. They’ve got my $ 100 (two memberships), will not refund it and they will not provide any service at all. It’s also past the credit card dispute date, unfortunately. I liked the therapists, but I’ll NEVER go back to them as a result.
DO NOT PURCHASE A MEMBERSHIP HERE!

This is a great value for a massage. The décor is contemporary, warm and relaxing; the staff is friendly and helpful. Love the program where you can get a massage every month at a reduced rate and you can cancel at any time! I will continue to get my massages at Hand & Stone.

Highly recommend this spa. The owner and staff are terrific and the services do not disappoint. I will continue going back again and again.

I had my first massage here this evening with Becca. I selected the 80 minute hot stone massage, and it was so relaxing and worked out many painful areas.
The spa has a very clean and relaxing atmosphere, and the rooms reminded me of Deepak Chopra’s spa in Carlsbad, CA.
I’m going back next week for another 80 minute session with Becca, this time for a deep tissue/​Swedish massage.
I think it’s more economical to buy the packages they have (member packages) as you save more money if you go more frequently.
Give it a try. You won’t regret it.

Experienced my first facial and peel last week. I’m hooked! Molly is friendly and knowledgeable, and has a very relaxing demeanor.
For someone like me who has struggled with problem skin since adolescence, the smoothness and glow my face had after my treatment with Molly nearly brought tears to my eyes.
The environment is calm and relaxing, I loved it!

After an insane 3 months at work I decided to treat myself to one of my favorite things… a hot stone massage!
The lobby area smells fantastic and has a beautiful, relaxing, airy feel. The staff was very friendly, there seemed to be a very positive feel right off the bat.
First off the linens and cozy blanket on the bed was wonderful, I wanted to take it all home! Some may call me a germaphobe so I was very happy to see how clean and sanitary the rooms and stones were while maintaining a warm and inviting atmosphere. I tend to be a baby about the heat of the stones, which I forgot to tell them when I made my appointment. Stephanie did a great job of finding the perfect temp and pressure to make me totally relax. She used many techniques which were new to me and I really enjoyed. I also loved that she didn’t talk to me the whole time, this might sound nasty but keeping up a conversation doesn’t always lend to the most relaxing time. I ended with an added foot massage which included a short scrub.
I didn’t want to leave, but my time was up. I look forward to coming back to try the cold stone facial massage, which I was told helps with headaches. I tend to be very picky about these types of services, this being said I would absolutely recommend Hand and Stone to my friends!
