The seafood was Fresh and delicious, the service was lacking. Lacking the proper training and sever etiquette. One food runner came out to the table and asked if she could pick the one shrimp left from out seafood tower so that they could recycle the ice tray for the table across from us. She stated that the ice would melt off of the metal tray and onto the table. I obviously said no. Ten minutes later, we finished the seafood and they were allowed to take the metal seafood server away so that they could recycle it for the table directly across from us. Like… Yuck!!! As soon as our desert came, one minute later… The server brought our check. That is after one desert and a glass of wine. The seafood was great, but– I think I’ll go back to Harry Savoy’s where service is

I ate at this place last night with my husband. Crab cakes were tasteless then, but I sure tasted em coming up later. The portion of the filet was no bigger than a half dollar coin. Brussels sprouts dry as Berber carpet! The dessert was fabulous… apple cobbler with vanilla ice cream. Service was good.

Good food. Bad servers. Unprofessional and disrespectful. The food is very well made and the environment is beautiful. I ordered the Penne and it came out pretty well. It took awhile for them to cook/bring it out.

My new favorite go-to restaurant. Great food. Great people. Great happy hour — a solid two hour event from 5 to 7pm daily. My lady got me hooked on the mussels in a spicy red broth with a piece of garlic bread for 5 dollars. The fried shrimp in a remoulade sauce over Cole slaw for 5 bucks also rocks. The pineapple infused vodka martinis are spectacular. There are deals on beer, wine and martinis. Last night I had half a lobster stuffed with crab cake along with their delicious sautéed spinach and grilled asparagus. The only thing I don’t like is the gold fish crackers filled to the glass carafe brim because I can’t stop eating them. Easily one of the best bar staffs in the area. Great service and great people. Dom and John at the bar are awesome! Ask for them and you will be happy? The fresh fish is flown in daily and another can-not-go-wrong choice as well. Highly recommend this spot.

Stopped by for lunch today around 12:30pm. The food was excellent, but the waiter and waitress kept coming and asked if we are done so they can take the plates away. We were still picking on the last pieces. After the 4th time among 3 of us, I was ready to go and wouldn’t ever come back. Hope you got a better experience. The place was empty, so it’s not that they need the table!

I have eat here several times without disappointment, service is average but friendly, menu selection and quality make up for the average service.

First, they messed up my order and I had to wait another 15 minutes to pick it up. You would think they would offer me a drink or a dessert or something in the meantime for the inconvenience. NOTHING. Then, I take the food home and was so disappointed at the serving size and quality. The fish was sooooo salty and overcooked. It was very stiff. Also, the tuna appetizer had five small pieces of tuna. The photo I’m attaching is both of my appetizer mixed with my entrée of mahi mahi fish and tuna appetizer. I also asked for«sautéed broccoli,» they literally took raw broccoli, cut it up, and threw it in the box. There was nothing sautéed about it. Also overpriced for the amount of food you’re getting. You can tell me if it looks like it’s worth the $ 40 I paid for it through the photo I attached.

My wife had been to this restaurant with friends before so I had high hopes. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed. The waitress was nice and attentive when taking our order, but that’s where the good part ended. The food tasted fine, not great, and would have been hotter when I tasted it if I had utensils. When I found someone to ask, a couple of forks found their way to the table(no knife, spoon, or napkins). The big surprise came when we noticed lipstick all over the top of the wine glass. Under normal circumstances that wouldn’t be an issue, but my wife wasn’t wearing any. In response to seeing waitress was noticeably upset, requesting her manager to come speak with us. Ten minutes after delivering the bill, one of the assistant managers stopped by, and gave my wife a card good for one free drink on our next visit; no offer to apply a credit to the bill… not sure we will be back to use it. The place next door is much more reliable.

I am the biggest fan of Big Fish! I live in Brooklyn and I eat here exclusively when in PA for business. I have brought several coworkers here for lunch and dinner. I’ve even booked the private room in January for a large group dinner. The food is high quality and consistently great! The staff is friendly and always professional. Consistency is the best word to describe Big Fish! I only wish there was one in Brooklyn :)

We were there last October with our family and had an amazing dinner. We started with their seasonal pumpkin martini. Yummy. Then we moved on to entres. The best grilled salmon ever, so fresh and perfectly cooked. Service was also fabulous and it was a busy night.

Good selection of fish for an inland location. All our dishes were fine, but nothing spectacular. Cheery décor with lots of natural light. My kids loved all the large fish models suspended from the ceiling.

When I punched the address into my GPS, I didn’t realize that this was the old American Grill location. The inside looks the same except for all the«big fish» all around. My dining partner tonight was an older person so we asked for a booth in a quieter part of the place. The booth was not a good choice as it was uncomfortable for my senior partner and the music was quite loud for them. For me it was fine, but keep that in mind if you dining with the senior set. The food, however, was good. We shared ½ dozen Virginia oysters. My dining partner had the Maryland crab soup and I the tuna entrée. The soup portion was small for the price but tasty and a bit on the spicy side. The tuna portion was large, but the side of sweet potato with swiss chard was mostly potato. It also came with some nicely grilled asparagus. The tuna was coriander crusted, sushi-grade, and cooked to a perfect medium rare. Service was fine but definitely geared toward me and not my dining partner who had some difficulties in hearing. I would definitely return as the choices of seafood places in Delaware County are minimal.

Came here for lunch a few weeks ago with my Grandmom and boyfriend. It was good not as good as I expected it to be. I got the fish and chips, which maybe was a mistake. I did not particularly care for. The fish was too fried for me. However, my grandmother got the scallops and my boyfriend got the crab cake sandwich which they both really enjoyed. Service was pretty good. I would maybe come back here and give it another try, but definitely not for lunch. The portions were not lunched sized and were priced accordingly. Our total bill came to like $ 65, which is a good bit more than I would want to spend on lunch

Came for dinner with a group of 4 adults and a one year old. The fish looked fresh, thou the lobster I had was over cooked and rubbery from being cooked to much. Sad for a 25 dollar lobster. The orzo I ordered also was over cooked n mushy However, The raw bar oyster that my brother in law ordered looked good and fresh. My husbands tuna was cooked wonderfully and was flavorful.

I came here for lunch one Friday afternoon and really enjoyed myself. I started with the brinton lake salad and followed with the crabcake dish. I enjoyed everything I had. and if I lived closer, I would probably be a regular.

Big Fish rocks. My parents are huge fans of this place and generally go weekly to sit in the bar, eat some appetizers and seafood, and drink some wine. The first few times I went to Big Fish, I didn’t really get it, and felt pretty neutral about the whole thing. But the past few visits here, I have finally started to understand why my parents love this place, and I’ve become a fan too. My parents love the raw bar– the oysters and shrimp in particular. For some reason, I don’t really like cold seafood, but they love it. The seafood is always fresh, and my mom told me the shrimp here ruined most of the other selections in the area for her, because the chilled shrimp here is so fresh. Also, the chilled jumbo shrimp is impressively large(and costs $ 2.75 each or $ 15.95 for 6). I’ve tried a few different things here: — Caesar salad, $ 4.95: huge, fresh, delicious– and they had no problem serving the dressing on the side. — Bacon cheeseburger with a side of fries, $ 10.95: great burger– absolutely no complaints, and the french fries are my new favorite– they are crispy, hand cut shoestring fries with lots of old bay seasoning — Mushroom flat bread: two thumbs up — Lobster roll sliders on brioche: AMAZING. It is only served on Wednesday nights and sometimes we go on Wednesdays just because we want to order this. You get 3 small sliders but it is surprisingly filling, and comes with french fries. I hope they someday make this a regular on the menu. In general, the food is cheaply to moderately priced and the salads are huge(if you order one to split, they will split it in the back for you). We always sit in the bar, and I love the booths(although there are only two of them!). They have plenty of good beer and wine choices, and always have interesting cocktails on their cocktail list. The waiters and waitresses are always friendly, and the food always comes out fast. I’ve sat in the dining room before, but for some reason the bar feels more cozy. The bathrooms are big and clean, and they also sell gift cards(my dad gets lots of them for Christmas, since he loves this place). When it’s nice out, there is patio seating. There is a huge parking lot to park in, although between Big Fish and PF Chang’s, sometimes the parking lot gets pretty crazy/scary. Overall, a great casual, relaxing place to go for happy hour or some fresh seafood.
