Went yesterday because I had a coupon on the back of my receipt from Jewel, $ 22 Pedicure $ 32 mani pedi my friend got both, I just got the pedicure. They had lots of colors to choose from, even Opi’s new Hello Kitty polish. Everything looked really clean. The staff was really friendly, but there were only 3 technicians, so if they were busy there might be some waiting. I think he did a pretty good job on my pedicure, and he massaged my feet and legs for a long time which was wonderful. My friend was told that it would cost $ 5 extra to remove her calluses, which she didn’t mind, but we get regular pedicures and check out all different places and no one has ever suggested this before. That aside it was a wonderful experience and we will most likely be going back, I really enjoyed my massage.

I have never had a bad moment here. They are always accommodating and are very honest. If they think you will need to wait, they will let you know. I love that it is a family business also. Everyone works as a team. The best service here for me is the eyebrow waxing. Michael actually massages your temples after. Plenty of options here and good pricing.

This past Saturday was the last time. I will search now for another salon locally to frequent. I arrived 2 hours before the closing. One Anglo woman was finishing up, and the two nail techs attending to her were distracted from taking care of me. I am Asian and have been to VIP many times before, but felt taken for granted. They were in a rush to leave, it seemed, and even when my toenails were not done drying and my ride had not yet come, they put me out; even waved goodbye as she left in her Escalade while I stood outside. So, they weren’t raised in this country and may not know what is considered impolite, but they live & work here now and should learn.

Be careful! They offer, offer, offer all kinds of add ons. We even said no to a deluxe pedicure and ended up with one AND charged for the upgrade. I was asked if I wanted calluses on feet softened, other salons ask too, this one charges extra and I wasn’t told. The no chip somehow is counted as a manicure and upgrade both added to cost of the pedicure/manicure package… like a two manicure charge. Our bill for two pedi/mani with only one being no chip manicure was $ 124.00 plus tip. Not fair the way they add on and charge so be careful. I don’t usually review but was blown away at the total. I called and tried to get an explanation because there was no break down. Was offered a $ 10 credit if I come back. Not!

Well, I am thinking to go to this place because it looks like they use EMA… I’ve read that if EMA is used then Acrylic nails come off in 3 weeks… while if MMA is used, then it’s almost impossible to remove them… I am SOOOO concerned about MMA nowadays… as it’s some toxic stuff that some salons still use today though it’s banned… I’ve read that one of the signs of using EMA is that nails come off fairly easily… If I need my nails done, I want to be sure they use EMA… I think we all should be working in this direction. If you know/suspect some salons of using MMA, we should make it public! People deserve to know!

While I was there I thought they were doing a good job, and Michael was very nice. However he spent most of the time bragging about how good of a job he was doing and trying to get me to let him wax my eyebrows, claiming he’s the best in town. I said I’d just had mine done and might come back another time for that. I was then charged $ 50 for a set of acrylic pink and white nails, which is pretty pricey for a place like that I think. It was after I left I realized how bad a job he did. i have had acrylic nails quite a few times and know that they should look really good for about two weeks before you might need to go back to get them filled or get a new set. However, by the time I got home I had already noticed several imperfections. By the end of the first week I could see air pockets in half the nails and chips between the pink and white. By the end of week two one of them had come off just while I was washing my hands. WTF? As the others started coming off I noticed how thin the acrylic was. I have never had such a horrible experience with acrylic nails and can only think he did something wrong. Like I said I’ve had these enough times over the years to know that’s not what is supposed to happen, especially for 50 bucks. I’ll never be going back which is sad because I live about a mile away… I’d definitely travel farther for a decent set of nails.

I don’t get manicures/pedicures very often, but when I do, I go to VIP Nails. My wedding party girls and I had french manicures and pedicures done here in June, and my manicure lasted almost 2 weeks and my pedicure lasted for 3! I went in for a regular pedicure today, and everything looks great again. I asked the tech to use my own nail polish so that I can do my own touch ups, and she was happy to accommodate. I think that regular pedicures start at $ 26 and the one I got(with callus remover) was $ 31. Sometimes I make an appointment before coming in, but they always do their best to accommodate walk-ins as well. The owners, Cindy and Michael, are very hard-working and keep the salon clean.

I’ve been to many nail salons in the area and this one is my favorite. They do a great job and are always willing to take a last minute walkin. I also appreciate how clean they keep everything.

This is my top nail salon. Even though I don’t work in the area anymore, I’m willing to drive the 3o minutes out here because they do SUCH a great job — for a really great price. For $ 35, you can have the upgraded«deluxe» spa pedicure, which includes a leg scrub, tingly mask and hot towel wrap. No matter which nail tech I get, I’ve always had a perfect job done. The salon is clean and bright and can accommodate groups(might want to make an appointment for that though) because they have many pedicure chairs. I’ve always just been a walk-in and only had to wait once.
