Nice little store, they have great vegetables and fruits for cheap prices, even kosher meat.

Trader Joe’s has a lot of great brand name items at very fair prices(bread, olive oil, pastas, cheese, snacks, chocolates, juices, teas, the list goes on). Plenty of organic and all natural selections as well. Two complaints, the store is small and aisles can get pretty tight. Also, I have never found reasonably priced bottled RO water here. They do have bottled water, but it is either insanely expensive or spring water, which I won’t buy. I do like how the cashiers take all the items from your cart and bag them for you. The shelves and displays are well maintained, clean, and orderly. Others complained about the parking, but if you park a few rows over instead of the main entrance lane it is just fine. I do my main shopping at Marianos but there are select items I will go to TJs for because you can’t get them anywhere else.

Ehhhhh… this TJs is moderately OK. I don’t know why all of the TJs I’ve ever been to have the worst engineered parking lots EVER, this one included, because it really makes my shopping trips there very uncomfortable. This one has all the selection as the TJs in Naperville. It’s a little annoying to get into and out of due to the busy location, but it’s way closer to where I work than the Naperville location, so sometimes I head over here and just pretend there aren’t ten million people in the store at all times and pretend the parking lot isn’t always absurdly crowded and a pain in the butt to find my way out of.

I am a big fan of Trader Joe’s(been to a few in CO) because of their fresh and different options for regular grocery items. However, I went grocery shopping at this location in Downers Grove and it was a bit smaller than I was expecting. That being said, I wasn’t able to complete all my shopping there but none the less, it was the best quality produce I have gotten in a long time!

My second place to get my usual cereal and oatmeal, and chicken breasts and is less pricier than whole foods and it is good clean and bright area. It has lot of options of food and drink items. plus like their green jalapeño cilantro hummus.

I’ve been to this location a few times. I like that the staff are always quick to ask if you need help and will take you to the section to help you find what you need. The store is pretty small and gets congested, but what can you do? It’s a popular store. Some items are better than others with TJ’s, but you’ll figure out what to buy after shopping here a few times. However, I’m incredibly disappointed with my experience here this past week. We came in twice to get a particular item and were told that it’d be ordered for us. The guy was standing at the computer, so of course he was putting it in for us, right? Um no. We should have called first because I wasted a 20 minute trip out of my way to stop back in to pick it up. They assured us that they’d order it Sunday, but I don’t think I’ll waste my time going back to be let down again. If they order an item, make sure to call or speak with a manager to ensure that it’s ordered for you. I did end up going to the Downer’s Grove location to pick up what I wanted where the item was in stock.

The best customer service I have ever experienced. My wife and I always prefer to go here first for our grocery shopping and then else where. The associates who work there are very helpful and very courteous. They have very nice options for clean ready to eat foods. Also love their wine collection, cheap and good quality. My wife is a big fan of their Brussels sprouts salad, baby kale, hummus dressing, peanut sauce dressing and I am a big fan of their sample(Wide grin). Their fruits and veggies are very fresh and not priced over the roof for their organic options like Hole Foods(Miss– Spelled it purposely) One the whole, love this place and will continue my weekly grocery shopping there for ever.

Come here instead of any other grocery store first for the following reasons: Store is smaller so less of a headache and the food they have tastes good. I feel like the employees here taste the food before they carry it. Others stores carry some nasty tasting pre packaged foods ex– dips/spreads. They have more selection at other stores, but half their items are crap. Bigger does not mean better. Higher quality food for affordable prices Pre packaged foods are fresh and are really good. Favorite salad is persimmon salad with goat cheese, pomegranates, and nuts Cheese selection — excellent — Italian truffle cheese yummy. Employees all of them are super helpful and friendly Never long lines in check out. Way cheaper then Whole Foods, Jewel. Produce is fresh. They carry hard to find condiments; ghee(clarified butter) cheaper than Whole foods and Indian markets, Manuka honey same way cheaper than Whole Foods, agave nectar, chia seeds, etc One item thus far that surprised me they did not have was sucanat pure dried sugar cane juice.

Parking lot is terrible. The store is good. if it’s all jammed up in the front, park on the east side of the building. Great for certain items, while they have some fresh produce, it’s not a fresh food store. Meats are all pre-packaged as are many of the veggies. A lot of organic products at good prices. No huge selections of anything. these are small stores selling mainly private label goods. Even though they are owned by Aldi, it doesn’t seem as if the company has ruined them. I can’t do any real grocery shopping here, We like their cereal bars, trail mix, flowers, 1LBBELGIUMCHOCOLATEBARS, cheeses(great prices on Swiss Gruyère. $ 11.99 lb here vs $ 20+ everywhere else), crackers and assorted dairy. I used to buy their flash frozen fish, particularly Mahi-Mahi but their prices have gone up and their quality diminished. They’ve moved to selling a lot of the junk fishes like Barramundi(is Swai next?) Also used to buy coffee here, but have found that World Market carries better coffees at better prices. Trader Joes is generally fun to shop at, as long as you avoid the crowded days and know what you are looking for. Expectations play a big role in rating a store like this.
