McDonald’s

Let’s face it: The food is pretty much going to be the same at whatever McD’s you go to. What sets them apart is the staff. Are the people who work there competent? Do they gave a rat’s arse? Do you get your food promptly, and as ordered?
Unlike so many other McDonald’s (particularly the disaster of a location on Midwest Rd. In Oakbrook) this place is staffed by A+ people. I’ve yet to encounter a problem, and I hit this place up more frequently than I’d like to admit. So nice to walk in and know I’m not in for a bad experience. And I love the jazz that seems to always be playing in the dining room.

Yuck I wouldn’t eat here if you paid me too, but if you’re thirsty and have a buck then it’s okay. Also don’t be an idiot and try to turn left onto rt 38 out of this place. Use the back entrance and drive to the traffic light.

This is a 24 hour lobby McDonalds that my friend and I can meet at and talk for a while late night. Usually it is a nice place. Recently they have developed a fruit fly problem that is probably more of an infestation. Considering that its been very cold weather for the last week its unbelievable that we have been constantly battling fly’s when we eat and talk every visit over the last six weeks. Tonight I was always greeted by about 500 dead fly’s on the window still. Whoever owns this place should be ashamed. You can’t defeat fruit fly’s with bleach down the drains. The employees and orkin or whoever they use aren’t getting it cleaned up enough.
I would avoid this place for now if I was you. My friend and I will be going to the mcDs at Yorktown from now on.

This seems to be a recurring issue at McDonald’s (or at least every one I frequent), but they botched my very simple order. I asked for a Peppermint Hot Chocolate, but instead received a Peppermint Mocha, which if you ask me is a totally illogical combo. Having not tried it until I got home, there was no fixing it. Maybe this is not representative of this location’s typical service, but I am growing weary of the majority of my McDonald’s orders winding up incorrect.

This is my favorite McDonalds to get my weekly coffee!

I’ve been here several times, since our office is close by. I would have to say that 3 out of 5 times that I go through the drive-​thru, I would need to come back in the building to get or replace something they screwed up in my order.
They are also pretty slow in the mornings, meaning you’ll wait about 15 minutes in the drive-​thru lane to place your order and get your food.
I know it’s a waste of time critiquing McDonald’s but I figured I should share my experience to others before coming to this location.
My tip for you is to check your meal each time you visit this place, just in case they made a mistake. It would save you and extra trip back.
