There are a lot of neat things in this vintage shop. I really like the baskets filled with scrabble letters and things like that (would be helpful for cool craft projects). The clothing selection was also pretty cool, and I was taking my time browsing through. However, my mom and I were completely ignored because the owner spent all of the time we spent in this store talking with the only other customer in the store. So, I didn’t buy anything.

This place is a GEM. The owner, Julie, has a fantastic eye for style. I’ve purchased furniture, jewelry, and so much more… They always have interesting things that you can’t get anywhere else– I got an awesome map of Chicago from the 60s that is hanging over my dining room table This is my go to place for gifts, I’ve found cool pottery that I’ll put fresh flowers in for a hostess gift, or pick up a little piece of jewelry for a girlfriend’s birthday. Great place for vintage purses, scarves, etc. I don’t know what I did before Gather and Collect opened!
