Awful pizza, we had the prosciutto & the spinach & artichoke, the 1^st tasted absolutely disgusting, maybe a bad ingredient or something, other was so burnt that it was all you can taste

Live the pizza but it seems like zombies work there. I seem to have trouble getting what I ordered.

Great service from Frank and Chuck and delicious pizza!!! I was ecstatic to find the Connie’s in Glen Ellyn. Our favorite pizza has always been Connie’s but we live near where the Westmont store used to be. I just happened to be in Glen Ellyn and seeing Connie’s as I was driving by absolutely made my day. What really was wonderful is that I was helped by Frank and Chuck. They went above and beyond in many ways. First of my salads were absolutely perfect and delicious and Caesar salad is not always made well. Then when I noticed the bottom and top crust of my pizza to go was burnt they were very nice and said it was no problem and promptly made me another one. I hate to complain and it wouldn’t have bothered me but this was a surprise treat for my Mom and she loves the crust so I wanted a perfect pizza. They were great about it and did not make me feel bad for asking for a new pizza. They are very friendly and extremely helpful guys. The second pizza was absolutely perfect so I can’t wait for Mom to have some! I also decided to order a wood fire pizza and tried a piece and it was delicious! It doesn’t matter to me that I’ll have to drive a bit to get here, the pizza is still excellent and the service I got from Frank and Chuck was so great that I will definitely be back and I hope when I come back that they are the guys here again. Thank you to them for helping me give my Mom a treat!!!

Amazing service. Delicious BBQ chicken pizza. Frank was our guy. His kindness and service made it an awesome time! Thank you because of his excellent customer service we will be coming back for sure!

Our favorite deep dish ever!!! Love the cheese garlic bread! Love the call ahead and carry out! Most importantly, we love that they ship nationally to give my husband a taste of his childhood. No price on that.

This was our first time ordering from Connie’s. The cost was crazy expensive, our order was wrong (gave us two side salads instead of the one side and one entrée we paid for) and the pizza was mediocre. Delivery took well over an hour, and one of the
pizzas was cold. It cost us $ 65 including tax and the $ 3 delivery for two thin crust pizzas and two side salads for 4 people. We ordered from Lou Malnati’s a week ago, and paid $ 40 for two deep dish that fed 6 people! We will definitely not be
ordering from Connie’s again.
**I complained to the restaurant and they were kind enough to credit us for our bill and give us a $ 25 credit for future use. Even though this was not a good experience, I do appreciate their quick response, and knowing that they are this concerned, I will definitely try them again. Hopefully, the next review will improve!

ABSOLUTELY love Connie’s! I am so excited we have a local Connie’s! My family loves it! We have been to Connie’s almost every weekend with the kids. Great food and great customer service! I highly recommend it! LOVE IT!

This pizza was really flavorless. We got a wood-​fired half cheese half mushrooms and sausage. There would be no reason to go here given all the other wonderful pizza restaurants in the area. It is a shame too because it is new and we thought it would be great, especially given that they have a Wood-​Fired pizza. There was no flavor to the sauce and there was also not much sauce given. The sausage was crumbled over the top, not larger chunks like at other places. On the plus side they put on a lot of fresh mushrooms. The crust was not too crispy. My daughter had a gluten free pizza which looked better and also tasted better, although still not that great.

Soo disappointing, will not be back. Paid 42 dollars which was overpriced to begin with for two wood fired pizzas but they weren’t even good. The Margherita pizza had an average of 3 dots of fresh mozzarella, the rest was sauce. I paid that much for sauce bread? really? if you are going to charge that much don’t be skimpy on the toppings — could not pay me to return. They are overreaching with the price for the product they offer. awful.

There is a reason I order from Gianorio’s of Winfield. It’s the best in the area. For some odd reason, my dad loves Connie’s. I think it is a bit of nostalgia for him because he grew up on this stuff. One of my old co workers loved this place too. My dad told me he is VIP at both this location and the Naperville location. I bought him and my mommy a $ 30 gc from this place. It’s adjoined with Oberweis and That Burger Joint. Cool setup, but if I want pizza, a burger, or ice cream… there are much better options in the area.
It was really awkward because I walked in and the employee gave me a weird look. I know you’re mad at me for myriad reasons.
1. I am ugly. Can’t help it
2. You didn’t get to go shopping with your bros at Best Buy to get COD or Halo
3. Your fatass brother ate all the turkey left overs. He left the shi*ty stuffing and rolls, but the turkey and sweet potatoes are gone
4. It’s cold
I could go on with reasons why I think I got weird looks. Unless my dad wants me to pick up his pizza, I won’t be back!

My first try at Connie’s, so I have nothing to compare it to as how it used to be. Born & raised in the Chicago area, I have tried every pizza from all the bigger named places from thin to stuffed to pan… etc. I was highly disappointed. Mostly at the price. For appx $ 20 with tax I ordered a 10″ pan, spicy sausage & pepperoni (one of their recommended specialties on the menu). I am not by any means a big eater, but I could have consumed this entire pizza in one sitting, if guilt did not overcome me in eating $ 20 worth of pizza at once. The crust was decent, the sausage was in overly huge clumps-​I had to pull them off the pizza, they were too big and when trying to keep them as part of the pizza, they dragged everything else off & left a mess. The sauce & cheese were ok. Delivery was timely but the pizza was barely warm & it looked like it had been sliced by a two year old. All in all… WAY to overpriced for what you get. I won’t be ordering again. I’d rather buy a frozen gino’s east from the grocery store for $ 7. It probably weighs more.

As a kid, I was a HUGE Connie’s fan. I can recall the nights where you’d wait 1 hour just to sit down to eat. Somewhere along the way, something went wrong. Pizza wasn’t nearly as good and for almost 2 decades, I didn’t eat Connie’s pizza.
So on a hunch, I stopped by here. Now before I go further, they share space with 2 other businesses so at first glance, things can get awkward. So over the last 3 weeks or so, they’ve won me back (at least this location did). The flavor that I though was long gone returned. Everything was FRESH and the price is fair for what you get (3.99 for a piece of sausage, pepperoni or specialty pizza & I believe $ 3.49 for cheese). I could actually taste the fennel as intensely as I did years back. Now from what I see menu-​wise, salads and pizza– all they do. Of my recent visits, food was always fresh and hot and the staff was on the ball. A perfect place for a hit and run bite to eat. The wood-​fired pizza is next in line to try.
On the Connie’s side of the business, the seating is somewhat limited. There is a «That Burger Joint» & «Oberweis» sharing location space.
