The Ackerman Fitness center is a nice clean work out facility. It is reasonably priced ($ 30/​mo) for Glen Ellyn residents, and requires no contract. The walking track is really just that, the corners are a bit too narrow to really run. Equipment is well maintained and very clean. Overall a good alternative if you don’t need a 24⁄7 gym to the mega gyms like x-​sport and lifetime.

Its a nice facility. Great trainers and equipment however Sean Nelson the facility manager doesn’t do enough to keep boys out of the women’s locker room. I’ve brought this issue up to Sean a few times now via e-​mail and complaining to the front desk but this issue has yet to be resolved.
