A great place to visit if you have 20 minutes to get a cup of coffee. This is the most understaffed Starbucks, and maybe just plain store, in the world. The drive-through gets priority, which sucks when you’re inside, but in fact you’re likely to wait a long time outside, too. Yes, Ricky is great — friendly and efficient. And some of the other people, too. But they have one person making drinks and at least two taking orders, and that lead to a back-up. This store has high enough volume that they should have two people making drinks, at least at peak time. The drive-up window isn’t convenient at all — they should have a car wash or something while you wait.

Last night was the worst experience ever! I understand there was a nation wide system register outage but there’s no need to be rude to the customers. If the barista Ricky wasn’t already making my drinks I would have left. He was awesome and kind. Even though he was frustrated he had a smile on his face. His supervisor on the other hand, I don’t know what her name was. She was extremely rude for no reason. There’s a way to talk to people. Other then this my experience here is usually positive.

Starbucks is everywhere. The quality is pretty standard whenever you go, but this is my regular Starbucks and I love it. I hit up the drive thru pretty much everyday and they know my order by heart so it’s always quick and efficient. The employees are friendly(especially Ricky!) and their service is pretty on point for a constantly busy Starbucks. You wait no matter what, so as long as you have a little patience, you’ll have no issues with this Starbucks.

If it didn’t have the drive-thru I wouldn’t step my foot in there. Only a couple of people who work there are nice. Ricky as the other reviewer had mentioned is always awesome. But almost all other workers just look super annoyed, more interested in conversing with each other and forgetting what you ordered half a minute ago. Listen, it is your job and if you hate it that much go and find something else! Customer service isn’t always easy, I get it. But the employees at other Starbucks’ somehow do it with a smile. You guys need some serious intervention from your manager!

Great place for a quick drink because of the drive thru, just order and roll up to the window. Makes its so much easier to get your caffine or sugar rush for the day, and less time walking thru the cold/rain or whatever weather may be outside at the time that may not be fun to walk in. The front of the store is big enough for many people to sit study and relax with others or solo, plus the free google wifi is a good benefit to coming inside. The service here varys somedays is slower than others but the tea’s(green ice tea lemonade unsweetened I usually get) and lattes are usually good, as well as the regular coffee. Just depends on what time you get there it might take at least 2−3min for a hot coffee since the brewers stop making full batches of coffee after a certain time to have less waisted coffee since its brewed every few minutes to be fresh. The drive thru is usually much quicker than the front of the store. Its for people that are busy, that want to get in and out with there drink of choice. Time is money as they say. I perfer the drive thru than coming inside when I have things to do such as tasks and errands. All in all this Starbucks is great, it has a good atmosphere with nice staff and customers for the most part anyway. Definitely worth a visit to see for yourself if you like this spot or not. Eventually you might like some baristas more than others or even get to the point where you know people by name. And that parts cool, becoming part of the community even if its just a bunch of joes that make your coffee for the day, they also might make your day even with conversations cause at that pount your not a random customer. You become a regular that is known by name as a person. So if you want something sweet or just a caffinee rush, can come thru here either inside or deive thru depending on how much time you have. Plus its the latest open starbucks in the area, the other starbucks in glen cove closes by 10pm this ones open till 10:30pm most nights, on weekends even 11pm or 11:30pm. When all else fails go to the starbucks that most likey is last one open in the sea cliff area, lol.

This place does a half way decent job with the coffee but every time I go in there I get the sense that the staff is annoyed that they have to wait on another customer. I understand the feeling because if I had that job, I’d hope for a natural disaster. Nonetheless, during my last visit the cashier burped loudly while handing me change and then she just laughed looked at a cup on the counter and yelled out, «eww…what’s in this cup?» The time before that, some guy was loudly speaking about how hammered he was the night before and he he was hoping no more customers came in. It was 8am. Others reviewing this spot seemed to think highly of it so perhaps mine was just some isolated incidents but I think I’ll stick to Dunkin Donuts going forward.

At this Starbucks I once watched one employee take on a monster, ten person deep line, while two fellow comrades dodged any interaction whatsoever. One walked/shuffled from the backroom to the espresso machine, each time with a bunch of bananas, while the other, I swear, took two stacks of napkins and repeatedly stacked, and then restacked them. No shit. Two columns of napkins were moved repeatedly from the girls right to her left, and then back again. Repeatedly. I saw it all from the drive thru window. The two skulky work shirkers were flat out doing all they could to avoid making any eye contact with the customers. All the while the one girl was doing all she could to serve the shitty long island ass wipes before her. Ha! Billy Joel sucks! Anyway, what moved me to pen this review is a single barista named Rick. Or was it Ricky. I frequent coffee places a lot in my travels. When I make a few runs to a particular spot, the good ones tend to pop out from the gloomy deadbeats that suck the souls of their superior cohorts. Rick is one of the better ones. He is on top of my somewhat tricky, wholly obnoxious, preferred beverage. I appreciate the attention he puts into his craft. I’m shouting him out here since I can’t decipher which mopey twenty-something corporate stooge is the«manager» to whom old Rick should be lauded. Frankly in the great modern corporate combine pointing him out to such a soul suck would only get him fired as a perceived threat. Rick! These five stars are all yours!

Darn. This location is getting some rough reviews. I mean, there are only two, but I don’t mind being the lucky #3! I didn’t have as terrible of a time as the other two reviewers. I ordered my delicious coffee from a pleasant staff! Needless to say, I left satisfied and caffeinated! What more could you want from a Starbucks?

This Starbucks gets my order wrong, literally, every single time. Drive thru, walk in, doesn’t matter. I swear it off every time, only to return weeks later and get the same treatment. Never again.

This was the first drive-through Starbucks that I’ve ever visited. Felt a little awkward ordering Starbucks from a window, but it was a quick and painless procedure. I approve!
