You use a computer terminal to enter some personal information like your height, and whether you prefer to sleep on your back, side, or stomach. Then you lie down on a test bed, which «measures» your pressure points. The printer spits out a custom recommendation for the firmness that you need. Then, let the salesperson lead you around the store looking at mattresses best-​suited for you. There’s some color-​coding used in signage to help you keep options sorted out. If you’re with sleeping partner, you’ll hear about sets that offer the best compromise between your two recommendations. The mattresses here span a wide price range.
