If you are looking to try something outside of the city and decent, this place is just for you. This place does not have the best Caribbean food that I have had, but I will recommend it to my friends if they are looking for something a little difference.

Some colleagues of ours had brought jerk wings to the last couple holiday pot luch lunches at work… seemed a little weird, but there was NEVER any left over. So a work pal and I took advantage of a groupon and had lunch at Judy’s Island Grill II today. WHAT A GREATMEAL!!! REALLY grateful to have encountered not only terrific food but a very warm welcome and service. We had the jerk chicken, the Carnival Shrimp appetizer and a side of what they called«Festival» which was a sort of shortbread/biscuit, cigar-shaped bread. It was PERFECT for soaking up the sauces. Looking forward to our next visit!

Adorable Jamaican restaurant tucked away in an industrial area in Glen Burnie. I had the jerk chicken pasta which was delicious! Hands down one of the best pastas I have had in a long time! The sauce was made from real cream and butter and the jerk chicken was perfect and portion was enough for two huge meals! Coco bread was warm, beef patties were also a hit and everything was made in house. I also tried some of the curried goat and was pleasantly surprised it was also a good portion and not too many bones and a good flavor! Although price wise it was a little high for carryout I understand why with great quality food profit margins are much smaller and as a small business you have to take that into consideration and they have some specials on Groupon you might want to check there. I will be back Judy’s thank you!

Food was fresh and tasty. Slim on the portions to some extent. Specifically, I ordered the stew chicken and there was plenty of bones but not as much meat. I ordered that along with the rice and peas and cabbage. Atmosphere is pleasant albeit in a busy location on Crain. Sit down atmosphere with some tables and a big screen to watch television. However, I ordered take-out so I didnt get to stay. I can say that the ordering process in terms of the service was marginal at best. Service WITHOUT a smile. The one person assisting me sort of snapped at another person taking orders because he may have not done something accurately. Overall, the service and portions for what you pay are marginal but the food tastes fresh and good.

The food is good, but the service is extremely slow and forgetful. Don’t come in here if you want it to be fast or on time, and don’t be surprised if they forget something you asked for(or give you a wrong item). This has happened all three times I’ve been here. However, as stated, the food is good. Just be prepared.

Tried this hole in the wall because of reviews and such a disappointing experience. Ordered appetizers and jerk chicken was cold and beef patty hard. We sent chicken back and left. We should have followed our instincts and left when saw the dirty table cloth.

Judy’s homemade juices are the best! They have more vegetarian options than any local Caribbean restaurant I know. I have tried curry«chicken»; I didn’t care for the texture of the soy product. The veggie stir fry was good, although a bit salty for my taste. Some nights they offer live music.

Service was okay… food was not good or maybe I was expecting some authentic country side food from yard like my grandmother, aunties and uncles cook. I guess this is the watered down version for non authentic taste buds. I would not recommended this place nor will I return. Restaurant was clean inside and grounds as well.

I am definitely in love with this restaurant. The food is absolutely delicious and I love the staff. They are super cool and friendly. It’s always a pleasure to drop by. My favorite dish is the Curry Chicken Roti. The beef patties are excellent too. They have a dining area, a bar, and outside dining as well. They also have live music on the weekends. If you want delicious authentic Jamaican food, this should definitely be your #1 pick.

We absolutely love this place! The staff is very friendly & welcoming. The food is excellent. I got curry chicken, cabbage, and callaloo. My boyfriend got jerk chicken, rice, and plantain. The only thing left on our plates were the chicken bones. Lol. The bar has great mixed drinks as well! Service is always great. This time(Saturday evening) there was live entertainment(a gentleman singing), & he was great too! Just overall a great place that you should try! You won’t be disappointed.

We found this place on Unilocal after a trip to Maryland Live today. I cannot describe how amazing the jerk pasta is. And the Jerk pork. We WILL definitely be coming here more regularly despite living in Northern Virginia.

I really enjoyed my meal here. I ordered the jerk chicken with white meat, Mac & cheese and cabbage. The white meat could have been seasoned better, but I thought it was still good. Also, I wouldn’t order the Mac & cheese or Plaintains(were very dry) from here ever again. However, they offer nice generous portions.

Every time I have come here the food has been amazing! The service is pretty fast and the food is always fresh. It’s a little hot inside during the summer but tolerable for those used to Caribbean style establishments. Try the jerk chicken sandwich. It’s served on coco bread which is awesome! I’ve had the stewed chicken here as well. Fabulous. They sell Ting which is always a plus in my book!!!

If my mom was Jamaican, she would have hooked it up like this place. Usually I don’t eat out Cuz the food is wack but this place hooked it up. Little under 11 $ and they hooked up that oxtail. Sauce oozing out the box, great taste, great price, nice service… First time here and they remember my name. Definitely my go to Jamaican spot when I’m in the area.

The best spot for this type of food closed a couple years ago and was located off B&A they had the best Jerk Chicken right off the grill. Sorry I just miss that place so much but let me get on track. Judy’s is OK. I don’t really have an issue with the actual food I have an issue with the portion sizes. They are kinda skimpy. Most of the time the service is good but when that little square in the carry-out tray is not OVERFILLED with meat I am going to be upset. Spots like these are known for giving you nice amounts of food but not here. I guess they feel they don’t have to because where else are you going to go? But I have not been in probably over a year maybe they give you more food for $ 12 now lol.

The food overall was pretty good. The jerk wings were top notch. The curry chicken was above average. The prices were pretty reasonable.
