Idle Hands Tattoo Emporium

Horrifying experience here. I loved what Dez drew up for me. And than she tatted me, and it just kept getting worse and worse. Not to mention it took her forever to set up (not like my other experiences elsewhere). I can not imagine that someone could give this place a 5 star besides the fact maybe they were lucky enough not to trust their ‘canvas’ to Dez. I am more than disappointed as this will be on my body for the rest of my LIFE!
After Dez was finished, it was a disaster.:(Her ‘business card’ even gives you that warning! «dez aster» = DISASTER. *sad sad sad.
She even said it wasnt her best day after she saw her work. and she said sorry. YEA. SORRY DOESNT FIX MY ARM!

Great artists and equally awesome people. If you’re in the area, stop by and talk to any of their artists about your next tattoo. You won’t be disappointed!

Was in yesterday to see Kinsey for my mermaid tattoo. About two weeks prior, I emailed Kinsey some photos and descriptions of what I was interested in. She responded within a day and even emailed me a few days later to reassure me that she was still working on it. I really appreciate how communicative and professional she is. She offered two concepts of the mermaid for me to choose from and she stressed that any input or new ideas would be welcome. I am so impressed!
My appointment was at 2 pm and I arrived exactly on time. Just like the first time, Kinsey was ready for me right away. After a final consultation and making some minor last minute adjustments to the size, etc, we started. Between the pleasant conversation and me trying my best to convince her to visit California (so she can tattoo my sister and me some more), the process went by very quickly. It took her about 2 hours to complete my tattoo and that includes her touching up a tiny little arrow that she did for me last time. Amazing.
I had a really fun time, I am extremely happy with her work, and I highly recommend people visit this establishment and to check out Kinsey’s work especially. Her pricing is SO reasonable. Seriously, the price for my tattoo came to just a bit more than half of what we originally discussed. I can’t get over that.

For my last day in MD visiting my sister, we decided to add a little something to our «sister arm». In addition to our matching tattoos, we each got something on our own as well. Let me start by stating how energetic and nice everyone was! A few days prior to our appointments, we found Idle Hands website and almost immediately fell in love with the style of Kinsey’s work. She was super nice over the phone when we scheduled our appointments, which made me feel even more comfortable and at ease with our decision.
Upon arriving to our appointment, we were greeted immediately. We showed Kinsey a few photos of what we wanted and she quickly drew something up and made sure we were 100% happy and comfortable. The number one thing I loved about Idle Hands, were that each artist is set up in his/​her own private room! I cannot stress enough how much that made a difference to our experience. Kinsey was humble, laid back, and really easy to communicate with. The three us were chat chatting the whole time, our sessions went by in a flash!
Overall, a super relaxing atmosphere, awesome work, affordable prices and really friendly people. My only complaint is that she’s not in California… where I need her to be!
