Shoe Carnival

Thanks to the no tax sales going on i went into this store looking for a great deal on shoes for my daughter… And voila… !! They had a BOGO half off sale. So i got 4 pairs of shoes… They have a great selection, and prices were very reasonable.
The service was good as far as the girls walking around assisting you, but at the cashiers desk there was several people, i assume managers standing there doing nothing. My friend with me mentioned to them they had a coupon at home for $ 5off, and realized she forgot it. She politely asked if they could honor it in light of the sale and no tax weekend. They wouldnt do it. I was really surprised and disapointed… There was no one else in line behind us, i feel like good customer service would have been to honor it because he knew exactly which coupon she was referring to but obviously didnt care… Regardless of the fact that we bought 4 pairs of shoes…
My cashier was kind enough to offer me the rewards card for future purchases, and seemed apologetic that we wouldnt be getting the $ 5off…
Not sure if im in a rush to go back, i need a moment to come don off my annoyed pedestal … Looks like rack room shoes here I come…
