Good eye doctors but was still sitting in reception area 45 minutes after my appt. No explanation. Just rude to expect people will just sit here. Our time is valuable too. Also pretty expensive especially if you get your eyeglasses here.

I am a fan of Dr. Bryan Brooks for Lasix surgery. I found him through a coworker’s recommendation at VCU. Dr. Brooks took the time to answer all of my questions, had a thorough exam before and after my Lasix surgery in 2010, thorough annual follow-​ups and addressed my dry eye issues. I’m happy to report that I still have 20⁄20 vision five years later (previously had 20⁄200 vision in both eyes) and remain glasses-​free!

I have been seeint the Mechanicsville office for years now. All of the staff there is great! They are professional and right on the money with opinions. The longest wait I have had is 15 minutes. You can also have glasses made on site and their prices are good as well!

Went here on recommendation from a coworker when I first moved to VA. The facilities were really nice, but I just didn’t get a good feeling from the doctor. I also feel like he didn’t really listen to me. I was right — when I went to a different doctor a year later, I found out I had a slight astigmatism that wasn’t being corrected.
Certainly not the worst, but there are so many better doctors out there.
