Everything is good here but the burger is the best burger I have ever had. Go get one for your mouth.

I went here for the first time today and the food was amazing! The staff was great and very helpful. They had perfect portion sizes and all of the sauces were amazing! I got the Mac n Cheese and potato salad and they were both delicious! I will definitely be coming back!

I love coming here. My food is always fresh. My salads are ALWAYS green. I’ve never seen any brown lettuce and the toppings look and taste amazing. Today is a $ 6 meal deal. You can’t beat days like this. The customer service is always consistent and I haven’t had a bad experience here yet!

I stop at Q overtime I’m heading south. It’s some of the best BBQ you’ll find — competition quality BBQ. It’s owned by Duffy from BBQ Pit Masters. I’ve tried all their meats and most of their sides. They are all great!

Are you kidding me right now? This brisket is unreal. So good I think I died and went to beef heaven. Yes, there is such a place, and it’s «Q.» Great people, great food made with heart and masterful technique. People can try all they want to duplicate this, and we will applaud their fine efforts, but I’m here to tell you. It will never happen. You’ll just have to come to this location. Well done. Bravo and take a bow.

Decent bbq … In my opinion, a little overpriced for the portions you receive. This may sound bad but I actually think Famous Daves may be better

Was worried when we walked in and saw you ordered at a counter then waited at what looked like your routine fast food booth. But, I have to say, the ribs were great, as were the greens! Seemed other in our group also loved the wings, coleslaw, and corn muffins, too. And, what a cute logo!

I guess I should have examined the reviews a little closer to realize this was a fast food McDonald’s style restaurant. As a native Texan, to the woman who compared this to Texas brisket, I have to say you must not have ever had real Texas BBQ. I’ll start with the price. $ 16 for a plate of half rack ribs… Frozen processed thrown in the microwave half rack ribs, a tiny scoop of microwaved Mac & cheese and flavorless fries. $ 8 kids meals(hot dogs or chicken tenders, the ribs were more) with the most flavorless tenders I’ve ever tasted. The BBQ sandwich was passable. Again I could have gotten better at the Cookout drive-thru. Yes I am a BBQ snob. Living in the south all my life I can’t help but be. This is definitely the Burger King of BBQ. I would recommend hitting up the nearby Texas Roadhouse and spending about the same amount of money.

Stopped in here for BBQ on our trip to Savannah and was challenged because I wanted to try so many sides. Unfortunately not all lived up to my hopes. I had the chicken with hush puppies and hot pineapple dish. All the meals come with corn muffin. The chicken was good but there were a few bones so be careful. It was tender and had flavor. Q has three sauces, original, sweet and spicy. I liked the spicy the best with a touch of heat. It’s. It’s not overly spicy. Just a tad. I squeezed it all over my chicken. See my pic for food presentation. Now the hush puppies were not what I expected or desired. They had deep fried oil taste which left me leaving it on my tray after a bite. Also, they should be served with warm butter in my humble opinion and trey only had cold slabs by beverage station. The hit pineapple dish is something I make and it was good but I was not in a sweet mood so I have to my dining companion. I did enjoy my companions fries. They had brisket and beans as well. Comments ranges form okay to average on their meal. I broke a corner off of the corn bread and it was okay. Meh. Same from dining buddie. Few tips: order at counter and they give you a number to place on your table. They bring food out to you. Self serve beverage station was great with cheer wine on tap. I had sweetened tea mixed with ade. Music piping through the dining area is good. I heard zydeco. Yeah. Staff super friendly and courteous. I know they win a lot of awards but not my fave Q.

Wasn’t expecting too much but this place is so good! Awesome bbq and awesome desserts(we got the coconut cream pie). My only wish was for the hot bbq sauce to be hotter, but i’m crazy. Our food came out super fast and wasn’t expensive at all and the staff was cool too. Will be back for more.

Super friendly staff and lots of room. Food is delicious and fast! If you’re a member of their email club you get deals sent to you every now and then too. I got a pulled chicken bbq sandwich, Mac n cheese(highly recommended!) and a drink for $ 6 just by showing my email. They also have Cheerwine here! So good!

Houston, we have ignition! Had lunch here. Arrived at 11:30 a.m., just before the crowd. I had the three meat combo with two orders of ribs and one of beef brisket. The side was potato salad. Tell you what: they’ve got some tasty ribs here. Ditto for the potato salad. Brisket was fine, but just not the star of the show. Good sized portions, too. This is definitely a keeper!

This is my first time eating at Q barbecue. The store is clean and has a nice family friendly atmosphere. There is also a TV. I ordered the chicken platter with collard greens and Mac and cheese. The chicken is thigh meat. It was tender and delicious. I was thrown off a little by the fact that the sauce wasn’t on the chicken but that’s not a big deal. The greens were good. They could have been cooked longer. No complaints on the Mac and cheese. I definitely will make this a stop on my NC to MD road trips.

Sweet sauce is the worst. Portions are very small. Mac and cheese tasted like it just came off the Cisco truck. For the amount of awards they have thought it would be a lot better. On the bright side, fast service and the hot BBQ sauce was pretty damn good

Great BBQ. Mostly a Texas style place, which I see. plenty of in Cali, yet the delicious pulled pork was not Texas style. I wanted carolina style and they delivered! They have great carolina sauce. The hush puppies are terrific. The meal comes with a piece of cornbread, which frankly was mediocre. Baked beans are great as well. The layout is a little weird since you have to stand in the dining area to see the menu. Minus one star because. the sides, while excellent, didn’t quite match the quality of the pork. Kudos to the staff, who were engaged and super friendly. I would definitely come back here the next time I’m around. Great respite from the freeway!

I was very impressed with this place. It was stumbled upon by accident in route to Center of the Universe Brewing Co. I am glad it was found. The ribs were cooked perfect with great flavor. They were not drowned in sauce and perfectly tender. The brisket had great flavor as well and wasn’t too greasy. The pork, the pork was nice. Again, not overly greasy. I ordered potato salad and it was tasty. A little more mustard than what I would use, but very tasty non the less. I also ordered Mac & Cheese which I am very picky about and although I wouldn’t write home about, it was very good. The sauces provided at the table were all delicious. I mixed the original with the spicy and was delicious! The staff was on point and the cleanliness was impressive. If you like BBQ and you are in the area, I would hit this place up. NOTE — Not NC style(which made me happy).

So I grew up eating Carolina Bbq. And while I do still love their Bbq, I have definitely fallen in love with Texas style Bbq at Q Barbeque. They give you a generous portion and it is amazing. They have different combos and sides you can choose from depending on how hungry you are! They also have diet Dr. Pepper lol, which makes me happy! I also love their potato salad, which was a complete surprise to me as I don’t like any restaurant potato salad. It is made up of red potatoes I believe and is somewhat of a mixture between white and yellow color. It’s absolutely perfect! And if you’re looking for dessert, their coconut crème pie is to die for. The staff at this location is super nice as well! Definitely a place to check out for Bbq lovers.

Q Barbeque is one of those places that makes living in Richmond a blessing. It’s a small barbeque chain with only four locations and I’m thankful to live near one. Q Barbeque was founded by George«Tuffy» Stone aka The Professor. His roots are pure Richmond and the fruits of his labor have been bestowed upon us through Q Barbeque. For me it’s all about the spare ribs. I’m a spare ribs junkie and if you can’t produce good spare ribs don’t you dare call yourself«Barbeque» I had a craving for ribs so strong one Saturday it could have given a pregnant woman a run for her money. I made a bee line for Q Barbeque. It had been a year since my last Q Barbeque run. At that time(circa 2013) the ribs were way overcooked and dry. I wasn’t on Unilocal then and wrote off Q Barbeque for about a year. After all, when it comes to spare ribs in Richmond, there is a huge name to contend with and it rhymes with Fuzz. I walked in and ordered a full rack to-go with a pint of slaw. My order was ready in less than two minutes and I drove home to enjoy my food. The smell of those ribs on the drive home was almost unbearable. That first bite was nothing short of magical. It went beyond my expectations. The ribs were juicy, flavorful, smokey, and exactly what I craved. This batch was flawless! I’ll let the other Unilocalers critique the sides, the pork, and their dining experience. For me, these ribs are world-class and totally worthy of 5 stars.

Not nearly as good as the Midlothian turnpike, so that’s minus one star. Hot food, hot fries, great food as always. One downside, all of their soda flavors were out of syrup. Yuk.

Finally got to try Q Barbeque(difficult to leave the city for bbq) and would likely come back again. Two of us got a three meat platter with 2 orders of ribs(6 ribs total) and pulled pork with 2 sides. We got onion rings and corn pudding. It also comes with a roll to make a small sandwich. The pulled pork was good with a slightly vinegar taste. The ribs were also tender and had a really good taste. Ribs were probably one of my favorite in the area rivaling Buz and Neds. I liked the corn pudding a lot and the onion rings solid. The place is new and clean looking and a food comes out fairly quickly. I imagine the food is fairly consistent. Ordering and layout reminds me of Panera. Wasn’t anything mind blowing but very good, tasty and fast.
