They are not bad, they arn’t real good either. They have the average bike shop, not for the enthusiasts, a bit over priced, limited parts, will not put your needs first, but who does. I will not buy my next bike there again, I’ll go on line first.

Great customer service. Went in there just to browse local bike shops. They didn’t try to only show me the expensive but actually find the best they offer in my price range. Very informative and helpful trying out all the different bikes and options. Plan to buy one from them soon.

This is a small shop run by a very nice family. The father owns the business, the daughter helps with sales, and there is a young man they employ as a mechanic. The shop primarily sells the Jamis brand of bikes, a great range of bikes superior to what you would find in big sporting goods stores, but not at the level of Cannondale and Specialized bikes. Jamis excels particularly for commuter and road bikes in the $ 500 to $ 1000 range, what cyclists would consider mid-range. For a bike with the same specs and geometry as the Jamis I purchased, a Cannondale will run 40% more for the brand prestige. You won’t see Jamis bikes on the Tour de France, but you’ll see dozens in the local cycling clubs, charity rides, etc., and people ride these things thousands of miles a year with no problems. I went in with a bike in mind, tried it out in two sizes, got their advice, and decided to buy it. I showed them the price of a major bike sales site online and they matched it, adding only a small fee for assembly(worth it– assembling a shipped bike yourself can be a challenge, even dangerous if you don’t know the tricks). Every bike comes with free lifetime brake and gear alignments, and the full tune up service package is $ 60(most folks do this annually), which is less even then REI. They do not use high-pressure sales tactics like Conte’s, do not push a cheap store brand like Performance(Scattante brand) and you do not get the«cooler than you» vibe of Carytown Bikes(nice guys, but if you’re not spending 2k or more, they aren’t that interested). I’m going back to Goodly’s when my wife is ready to buy her bike, too. Tip: Ask them about leftover«New Old Stock» bikes from the prior model year. They are steeply discounted but still brand new.

I recently bought a bike from Goodly’s and after getting it home and riding it, I realized that I wanted a bike with larger tires to absorb more shock — the one I got felt too stiff. They happily exchanged my bike and were very helpful in finding me one that better fit my needs. The staff is knowledgeable, the selection is ample, the prices are competitive and in many cases better than other local stores. I would recommend.

Posting this as I sit outside the store. 3:45 on Sunday. Sign and website say store closes at 4 pm. Store is closed. Lady inside saw me at the door and walked away. You lost a potential customer for good. If you don’t adhere to store hours, no telling what else you will not do.
