Really liked this place, we brought my parents here. We got basil fried rice, a garlic salmon dish, massaman curry, and Chiang Mai noodles. Everything was delicious except none of us really cared for the Chiang Mai noodles(it kinda tasted like coconut sunscreen to me). The prices were very reasonable for Thai food and service was good despite the fact that they seemed understaffed. We will definitely be coming back!

Surprisingly the hartford branch is much better than this one. I came here for lunch and got the thai basil shrimp and beef… Don’t even think about getting shrimp here unless you like them gray and old, the beef was odd tasting as well… The dish tasted burnt and just… not good. I would suggest going to the siam in hartford instead.

Found this restaurant on a Friday night through Unilocal on our way from NYC to Boston. Food was good and the staff was friendly, definitely representative of the 4 stars that influenced our decision to come here.

I came here for the first time a few years ago because I am a broke college kid and there was a Groupon. I have been back several times since then. This is one of the only Thai places in the area(I’m looking at you Sukothai, Sawadee and Simply Thai) where the pad Thai is not a bowl of bland noodles with like three vegetables in it. Here, the ratio of vegetable to noodle is much more appropriate and the pad Thai even comes with crushed peanuts and a lime(thanks!), though the last time I went the noodles were a little under seasoned which was a disappointment. The dining room is spacious and the staff has always been very friendly. My favorite Thai place around.

Very pleasant experience. Good basic offerings with choice of toppings– tried only curry, but three times because it was so good. Quiet(and where do you find that in Glastonbury) no rush. Fine place for good meal and atmosphere to allow companionable dining.

Although I often forget that this restaurant exists, I do enjoy going here! It’s located next to Whole Foods, and is dwarfed by the plaza. However, this works out for me, as I have never had to wait. The food is so good, I wish for them that more people would stumble across them. I have had the mushroom lovers dish and basil tofu. Both were great!!!’ They are nice enough to offer spice adjustments so you can try a dish that you may have been afraid to.(due to heat!) The next time I go I am going to try a curry!

My husband and I tried Siam not too long ago. We love Thai food and were not disappointed! I had the Siam beef and he had the Siam noodles. Firstly, let me say that the restaurant was very clean. Always a good sign. :) Secondly, our food came out in a timely manner and had a great presentation. Our plates were hot and so was the food. Lastly, the taste was amazing! We were Mmmming the whole time. We will definitely be returning. Give it a try!

After debating what to have for takeout, we realized we had not tried the local Thai place and decided to give it a try. We have tried Thai from many places, and Siam definitely stacks up next to the competition. Ambiance — 3 Stars — Though we had takeout, I did think the interior was decent inside. There were only a few parties seated around 6:15pm, so I assume most of their business is takeout. They have a few things to dress up the space, but overall its on the lackluster side. Service — 4 Stars — The hostess who took our order over the phone was polite and friendly, she was also very nice when I went in to grab the food. Food — 4.5 Stars — We had Edamame, Chicken Pad Thai, and Red Curry w/Chicken. All of these dishes were very good. The Pad Thai was as good as any I’ve had elsewhere, if not better. Really good flavor, nice and spicy like I asked for as well. The Red Curry was a bit more creamy than we’ve had before, it seems like they actually used a heavy cream for the sauce, really good flavors though. We will definitely be returning to Siam!

Siam was my first experience with Thai food and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I love the Sriracha noodles, they have just the right kick. We usually get takeout and the service is pretty good. I have dined in a couple of times and the service is great!

I got the drunken noodles. It was dry and lacked flavor. I will not be going back. The atmosphere was nice though.

The food is ok. If you plan on going, dine in. I’ve had some poor experiences with the take out. The pad Thai is always very dry, which isn’t very good. I enjoy the crab rangoons.

Service: 5+ Food: 5 Plates, glasses, silverware cleanness: 5 Size of the godly the most awesome Tom Yum soup in the whole Universe: –5 This place is the real deal. As a Tom Yum addict I had to take a star off for the ridiculous small size of the Tom Yum soup in lunch special. Grrr!

Tried the sricha noodles lunch special, came with Tom yum soup. I absolutely loved it! Brought my husband the following week for lunch, this time I had drunken noodles, which was delicious! He had a different noodle dish, thin bean noodles, lots of veggies, he loved it too! Definitely going back to keep trying different menu items. Clean, pretty interior, very polite staff.

Two words: mango curry. It is so good! Creamy, spicy and yummy. I would recommend getting it with the chicken or shrimp. Tofu didn’t hold up well in it. Pad Thai is solid. If you want heat, ask for it. Otherwise, the mild is pretty sweet. They let you pick you spiciness level on a scale of 1 to 5 stars. I’ve had three stars, and it was pretty hot to me. Service is pretty hands-off, so be prepared to flag someone down if you need something.

We are snobs about thai food and while we pass by this place every time we go to the whole foods next door — we had never eaten here until today. In short 1. Best thai food I have had in a long time and blown away that this little unassuming place beats all of the expensive this restaurants we have been into at home in nyc. 2. The quality of the food and preparation was much higher then the cost of the dishes. 3. Thai vegetable Dumplings ate always for us the first indicator of what the Thai food will be like and these dumplings were excellent. 4. The mango rice, while it could have used a few more pieces of mango, was excellent. 5. Service on a saturday night was superb and with always a smile — which is what I always remember of time in thailand: always smiles everywhere. Not sure why this place does not have 5 stars but you can bet I am stopping here on all my visits to whole food and more. Very pleasantly surprised.

Came here for lunch and it was pretty decent. The lunch specials come with soup or salad. I got soup and it was great. The pad thai was pretty good. They were very accomadating for a large group at lunch.

Got the lunch special drunken noodles with chicken and a salad for $ 9.57. It had 3 stars for really spicy but it wasn’t too overpowering at all. I actually added some red pepper hot sauce they brought to the table to kick it up. Service was on point. My water was never half empty. Very pleasant experience. I can’t wait to go back.

We have gotten take out from here twice now. Great Thai food very accomodating. Nice wait and hostess staff. We love Drunken Noodles ask for spicy you get spicy ask no eggs you get no eggs. Drunken Noodles were great with Chicken and Shrimp and portions aren’t skimpy. Druken Noodles had peppers, onions, whole geape tomatoes, egg and chilis. Can’t wait to go back and try more of their dining options. And prices are decent too. Next time I will take pictures too… but food was so good I scarffed it down before remembering to take a picture.

Siam is solid. The menu is pretty decent, and the flavors are good. They do not skimp on portions(except the appetizers…)! I have done delivery three times, and the food always comes in a jiffy. Protip: ordering over the phone will be cheaper than ordering online. Not sure why, but just pick up the phone.

Having lunch at Siam Glastonbury was a very pleasant experience. First of all, I was surprised at how large the dining room was, I was expecting a smallish interior but the storefront view is very deceptive. Siam is quite large. I went for one of the lunch specials –for between $ 8 – 12, I had a choice of soup or salad and 28 entrees. I went for the Tom Yum Soup and Drunken Noodles with chicken($ 9). The soup was very good, with a mildly spicy and tasty broth and lots of mushrooms and chicken. The Noodles were the wide Ho Fun type with basil, chilis, tomatoes, peppers, and onions. The menu gave it three hotness stars and I’d say that was pretty much on the money. It was a tremendous dish. Décor is very nice, service as attentive and friendly, the value was very good. Most definitely, I’m a fan. Nice job, Siam!
