Glastonbury Water Systems

They came right out and replaced our well pump. He was prompt and professional, I can recommend them.

My well pump was fried in the most recent thunderstorm, and as you Unilocalers know, I am a mom with lots of little kids. My crew is all under the age of 5, so no drinking water/​laundry/​toilet water is a SCARY thing.
Firstly, this company is being run by new owners, so I don’t know if Jim mentioned in the last review is still with them. My review pertains to Vickie, Clayton and Sean.
I was referred to Glastonbury Water Systems and called them shortly before 9 am. Vickie (wife of the husband and wife duo), answered cheerily and was very pleasant to speak with. I was frazzled, but she got me calmed down and did some information gathering over the phone. Clayton (husband of the team), luck would have it, was able to swing by my home very quickly and to squeeze our project into his day. Sean is Clayton’s right hand man, and he was here for the actual pump replacement. I believe there were at least 3 other customers in the same boat I was in due to the lightning the night before, so both guys were busy!
The time from diagnosis to a full pump replacement was less than 6 hours. Clayton was patient, knowledgeable and kind. He explained everything he was doing, as he did it, and even fielded questions from the nosy Mommy. He also tried some quick and simple solutions before going for the full pump replacement… but unfortunately they didn’t work.
My home is 40 years old and we’ve had to make a wide variety of repairs in the less than 10 years we’ve been owners. Add this to the long list of replaced systems…
All in all, the equipment pricing was very fair, labor charge realistic and the experience was as easy as it could be. Clayton even had some toy frisbees for the kids, which was a cute touch that my children loved. Thank you!

Had no water because the well pump didn’t work after the snow storm power outage. Jim showed up right when he said he would. He was very professional and answered all of my questions. I would highly recommend this company to anyone.
