GBB has been out to maintain our furnace several times. The first time the service man was young and inexperienced and had to call in a second guy after he couldn’t solve the problem. The second time we called to have the air bled from the lines, and to fix the problem of the heat not making it to the bedroom at the end of the line. Something broke on the furnace while the tech was working on it, and water started spraying everywhere. Once again, he had to call in someone more experienced. At the end of that episode we were billed for the original reason they were coming(bleed air out; be sure heat was reaching the far bedroom) as well as the repair to the broken part, but it turned out that they never finished bleeding the air out; nor did they fix the problem of the far bedroom. The following year they came out again(and we paid again) and they did do a successful bleed and fixed one other issue, but we still have the problem of the far bedroom. We now have a new emergency, just one year later, and I’m searching for a new company.(Our furnace is a very good one and only about ten years old.) If I could mark 2.5 stars I would; three indicates«A-OK» and in my experience they are slightly less than that. They were all polite, as well as patient with questions.

I have been a customer of Glastonbury Burner & Boiler for over 20 years. No one is ever happy about having to call but they are always there for service and emergency work. They recently were able to do a same day furnace install for me.

Paul and his crew just finished installing new more efficient heating system in my home. They also fixed a long standing problem from the original installation when we first had this house built 11 years ago… At no charge! These guys are professionals. I am very pleased and highly recommend them.

If I could do 0 stars I would. We has some issues with a heating system they installed within a few months after installation. When we called for service they we’re not helpful or friendly. We found out from another contractor that they were legally obligated to have a state inspector check their work. a step they had conveniently skipped. We got the inspector in and found out stuff wasn’t up to code and they had cut a lot of corners. Go with this company if you like businesses who are dishonest, unreliable and don’t stand by their work,

Grateful is what I would write for their always great service! This week we needed them to do a repair– last year we needed a new A/c unit and of course the keep us warm every year!!! Thank you to the entire team!!! Year Round!!!
